Bartesian Premium Cocktail Maker w/ 6 Variety Cocktail Mixes is rated 4.2 out of 5 by 19.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Incredible Machine! I have both the Bartesian and Drinkworks by Keurig machines. The bartesian is the superior machine. If you call or email the numbers listed on bartesian's website they are so friendly and quick to help! Ordering pods is a breeze and I recommend ordering directly through the bartesian website. Make sure to order pods at the same time as your machine so they arrive close together.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Bartesian Best Christmas Gift Ever Love love my Bartesian! It’s simple and easy to use and makes great drinks. I have order all kinds of additional pods. Just need to wipe bar coda reader after each use. I would recommend to all my friends and family.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from QVC Should Be Ashamed Worst product EVER purchased from QVC! Only dispenses what’s in capsule, NO customer support whatsoever! Hundreds of dollars on machine and capsules wasted!! I call into question who is picking these items to promote at QVC!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from We love it Very happy with our purchase. Since using it almost weekly, we’ve begin to notice minor issues (not dealbreakers, just a bit annoying) The pods that require gin (Uptown Rocks) will make a mess when preparing your drink. If you are making multiple drinks, the barcode reader will need to be wiped or it may not recognize the pod you placed in it. Other than that - our household loves our machine and thankful that QVC included pods (many of my friends didn’t get pods with their machine). If you are a cocktail lover, this machine is definitely worth a shot! Especially with QVC’s price!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Do it! If you’re going to buy this amazing machine, you might as well buy it from QVC! We have missed having craft cocktails this year being stuck at home and this has been so much fun. We’ve tried a wide variety of the drinks and they are all restaurant quality. The machine couldn’t be easier to use and even gives instructions on the glass you need when you put the pod in.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love this Machine! First off, this Machine is so cool! It makes drinks quickly and easily. I did have one issue with the pods on first use. I wasted a pod because the touchscreen would not come on. But I unplugged it and turned it back on and now it works fine. The pods feel a little funky when you put them in, but so far it works. Closing the lid, wait for a click. You need to apply a little pressure though. I love that I can use whatever alcohol I want and can control the strength. Uptown Rocks, Margarita, Old Fashioned, Whiskey Sour are my favs. Note that some people complain about The Long Island Iced Tea. Just add ice and some coke to your glass BEFORE you mix the drink. Then you'll have a great drink.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Surprisingly Flawed Machine During my working from home situation this year I was getting into the habit of making some of my favorite cocktails once I closed my laptop for the day. What I didn't enjoy was having to buy all of ingredients and mixers, and the cleaning up! I ordered the Bartesian for ease of use and convenience. It's a pretty expensive machine and the cocktail capsules work out at around $2.50 each. Once you add your favorite brand of vodka, tequila, gin, rum & whiskey it gets more expensive but still more affordable than going to a bar. I have had the Bartesian for a few weeks now but I am a little bit disappointed with it and I have encountered a few issues. Firstly, when swapping out the side bottles with liquor I find it spills out when turning upside down and pushing into the machine. This should be seamless but it isn't. Secondly, I frequently experience spraying alcohol & the mixer in the capsule over myself and floor as the capsules are not designed well enough. This happens often and is really putting me off. I have read online that you should check the nozzles for any debris or blockages. I have done so but still encounter the same issue. This really wastes the product and the alcohol. Thirdly, quite often the capsule does not empty into the glass or shaker below which again means the drink isn't as it should be and once I remove the capsule it spills out on the floor and it's more waste and mess to clean up. I should add I am following instructions closely! Another pain point for me is the cocktails themselves. They look so appealing on the packaging but the images of the cocktails do not resemble what comes out of the capsule. 'Love on The Beach' for example should be bright red but what I encounter is pale orange and it's opaque (still within sell by date). Some of the flavors also bother me and taste very one note or similar to each other. I appreciate the margarita and uptown rocks which both taste delicious but any of the cocktails with lemon in the mix all taste the same to me. I don't think enough detail is given to spices, bitters and the aromatics that you would find in bar made cocktails. Take the manhattan for example - in a bar you would find bourbon, white & red vermouth, and orange bitters with a hint of black cherry liquor. The vermouth is alcohol but there is no alcohol in the capsule so how would they achieve an accurate flavor that represents vermouth? The alcohol adds to the taste but it's missing from these capsules, and I think that's a problem. I wouldn't expect perfection from a convenient pod/capsule system but they are advertised and priced as premium. The manhattan capsules also have an ashy flavor which I find bizarre. I think it's time to return my Bartesian and return to making cocktails from scratch at home, even though I have 15 boxes of capsules in my closet!!
