Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent Food Processor When I first received this product I had difficulty getting it to turn on. After talking to the Kitchen Aid customer service they explained that the food tube needs to be lined up directly in front of the buttons, in the 6 o'clock position on a clock. I did that and it has worked every time since. It shreds and slices very evenly and quickly. Clean up is quite easy. I would like to have something to store the blades in for safety reasons.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Disappointing product from a trusted company I liked the idea of having an additional basket when doing multiple tasks; what I do NOT like is the design and difficulty of operation from this KitchenAid. The buttons are hard to push and the power is just not up to KitchenAid standards. The buttons are push buttons, but you need to really apply pressure to operate 'pulse' and 'hit' speed. Not a great machine for us aging Baby Boomers. Another complaint is the hollow tube under the blade. There is a small indentation that can collect food and it is hard to remove without a toothpick of sharp knife. My blade is already showing signs of rust- on a stainless steel blade. Not KItchenAid standards. I'll need to keep on eye n the performance in the coming years. With minor tweaks, this could be a great counter top food processor.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Bummed-out! I had to return mine. It is defective like many that have been reported and will not turn on. I’m so bummed about this as it appeared to be great as demonstrated on the Q. I’m hoping to get a replacement that works, but I have my doubts as these now appear to be sold out.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Disappointed! I purchased this food processor and checked that it worked properly. No issues. I used it for the first time today ...it doesn’t turn on! It is so disappointing. Useless!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Too Small I kind of wish I had ordered the 9 Cup Processor instead- because the opening where put the food items in to be shredded/Cut is smaller than most of the items-like most Vegetables,/Fruit etc. You have to cut them in half or smaller to fit inside the opening. Kinda defeats the purpose of why you got it in the first place. If going with the 9 cup- the mouth of the opening to fit the food items is much much larger; and you don't have to pre-cut the food items before hand. Also; I wish it had suction cups on the bottom that you could press a lever and it would stick to the counter. It does not. So it tends to jump all over the place when operating. Its not that heavy of unit- its pretty light., Just sayin

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Poor I own a smaller older KitchenAid Processor that I love. I bought this one because I needed a larger capability. Took it out of the packaging and the food pusher is cracked. Now I have to deal with that. It is very hard to clean, the buttons are hard to push, does not turn off fast enough, pulse is not respondsive. Base does not lock to the counter like my older model. All in all disappointing, surprised KitchenAid put this out.
