Janome MOD-200 Computerized Sewing Machine withAccessories is rated 4.5 out of 5 by 2.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Janome MOD 200 I haven’t unpacked my new sewing machine yet which kills me since I generally make all my Christmas gifts, etc. But with an upcoming move I thought it’d be safer still packed in original packaging. I did open the very top finding the instruction manual so I read that, seems very straight forward. My past machines were different varieties of Brothers. I began sewing at age 9, my Mother allowed me to use her new Elna machine, which she gave me before her death. During a move, someone stole it before I could move it from the car to the house. So, since then, I’ve not been able to afford replacing it, but other machines have worked fine. I make dolls, the Santa Claus & Elves, clothes of all kinds. In the years I had my Mother’s Elna I did tailoring, Wedding Trousseaus, etc. Now that I’m retired, the smaller projects and quilting have been my main focus. Really looking forward to using the Janome. Several friends have them and love them.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Love this machine!!! I bought this machine to take to classes as my other machine is in a cabinet and it is really heavy. This machine has lots of plastic, so it is much lighter. The more I work with it, the more I like it. It is not noisy, it sews easily. It has lots of different stitches (most of which I won't use) and it is a dream to work with. I have reduced sensory in my feet, so I can't use foot pedals and I have had knee surgeries, so the knee lifters won't work for me, so this machine has the start/stop and it is wonderful! The light is great. The more I read in the book, the more I discover. The only thing I miss from my other machine (Janome 6600P) is the auto thread cutter, which is why I gave it 4 stars instead of 5. I am considering another Janome MOD 15 for my daughter, I hope it will serve her well. All in all, I love the Janome machines. They are great machines!
