This is a good little gadget, seems to work well.I gave it four stars because the quality of it i.s kind of chintzy..They need to work on making it better quality, especially for the price you pay.

Wonderful Product
The first one I received was DOA. I sent it back for an exchange and the new one is working great. I sealed my brown sugar, confectioner's sugar, rice, lentils and chips. You just have to be sure the bag you are sealing is between the notches, lock the sealer and press the button. When the light stopped flashing I had a perfect seal on everything I mentioned. It fits in my kitchen drawer too. Thank you QVC and Versa for a great product.

fun to use
It is a great device, it works great too. But plugging it in is a major inconvenience - they need to make this rechargeable or battery operated.

I didn't care for this
I thought I would like this for sealing but I didn't care for this. I tried to reseal a bag I had with chicken tenders and it didn't work. Got really frustrated. I had to use the bags that came with the sealer. Nice idea. I will try other things and see if it works.

Works Well....Saves on Counter Space
While I do have a vacuum sealer that will also just seal bags, I keep it in the pantry, instead of having it take up valuable counter space. I purchased the hand held sealer, because I could just keep it in a kitchen drawer. It has worked well for sealing bags and doing exactly what I expected. It actually has a better seal than I expected, and seals fast! Now I don't have to pull out my vacuum sealer all of the time, just to seal an open bag.

Hand-Held Thermal Sealer
I was hoping for this product to work, the saying is too good to be true. It at times didn't seal. Or over-sealed and melted the bag or didn't seal at all.
The latch to hold close was hard to manipulate to work and the latch closed.

Great Product
I had received the product and had a very hard time locking it so that I could operate the sealer. I called directly to Versa sealer and spoke with Kami. It took a few days, returned that one, received a new one within 3 days. It works great, wonderful product and great customer service at Versa.
