Phoebe Preble, a Childhood Classics II Coll. has blonde hair and lavender eyes. This all porcelain doll is clothed in a frock of plaid cotton over lace-trimmed bloomers, ecru stockings, and black shoes. She is holding a small 3" wooden doll dressed in a tiny sprigged calico. Phoebe is based on a childhood book, "Hitty: Her First Hundred Years," by Rachel Field. 1996 limited edition of 500. The doll wears a beaded necklace and is signed by Wendy Lawton.
