Perfect For Dark Porches And Closets
I got a set of these when sold as such and my older widowed neighbor had a scare one night with someone on her property. Her nice size porch had no electrical lighting so hubby installed one for her. What a difference it made. It lights up the whole area as stays on as long as there is movement. The first set of 4 D batteries lasted well over a year and that entry is used often. I used Amazon Batteries which I purchase in bulk and cost less than a 4 pk in store and has a great life. I use Mr Beams all around my wooded off the highway home and takes at last count 40-44 D batteries and my last change even with all the wildlife and us and dogs running outside at night before bed my cost saving batteries are going on almost 2 years and still bright on the flood lights. Their may be knock off brands of outside lights or inside battery lights but none can outlast Mr Beams. Been buying them for over 10 years and my oldest ones still work. Always dependable Mr Beams. I do give as gifts as everybody needs emergency lights no matter where you live.. Just wish Q would keep them at a same low price all the time instead of having to watch for the occasional great sale prices that Home Stores always keep.

Perfect For Us
We have dusk to dawn lighting in our back yard but the overhang blocked lighting by our back door. My husband installed this light and it works perfectly. It gives off a LOT of light and stays on long enough for me to retrieve my keys and enter the house.
