I so wanted to like this
I had this Maker for just over a week and returned it. I usually make 4 cups and the first cup was good but then I would have to turn the maker off because it would burn the coffee. You know that awful smell and taste! Then my next cup of coffee I would have to microwave. The heating plate clearly is to hot. Attached photo is where it was already scuffing from the heat.

Good Purchase other than wrong packaging
When received, there were 3 instruction guides in the box & not one of them was in English writing.
