Joan Rivers The New Classic Trench Coat

I am grossly DISsatisfied !!!!
I received the garment with the sleeve belts missing.
QVC advised they couldn't be shipped separately, that I would have to return the item for credit, then order a new one, but they couldn't promise that one in my size/color would be available.
I was offered a $10 credit for the missing belts, which I opted to take.
I paid a seamstress $30 to make (2) belts.
I feel I should be reimbursed the $30, less the $10 credit.
My frustration was compounded by the fact that when I clicked on WRITE A REVIEW I got a display of advertising for your coat.
Thanks for your attention.

Great Classic Trench Coat with Style!
Joan had a great design sense. I will miss her dearly.
Great Classic Trench Coat with Style!
I have this trench in Black and Cream. Love them both!
Love the Coat, Love and will miss Joan.
I ordered this coat in the Navy in order to use in the winter in the south. It fits perfectly, the sizing is great, the material is high quality and the color is wow. Joan has done SO MANY things SO WELL. She was a pioneer for all women and was never afraid to speak her mind or speak the truth. Joan is a role model for all of us in so many ways. Thanks for carrying her products, OVC, and for allowing us to see the real, smart, kind Joan Rivers - who always had other women's well-being on her mind.
LOVE, LOVE, LOVE!!!!
The quality on this coat is UNBELIEVABLE!! Super HIGH END quality that feels way more expensive and looks even better. Beautifully lined and completely flatters the figure. Joan thought of everything. The cute "mini belt" around the wrist to tighten if you wish, is super cute. Must have!!! My only suggestion to quality control is sew on buttons tighter please!! Hanging loose when received.Tightening miyself, but shouldnt have to.
This trench is SO not average!
The workmanship of this coat is IMPRESSIVE. The cuffs alone have so many fun and unexpected details. I initially wanted the stone color, but it was sold out in my size. I ordered the "navy" which I knew by the video was more cobalt or royal. Now that I've received it, I'm thrilled with the color. Beautifully lined, too.
I was so excited to get this trench coat and loved it until it was washed. I followed the directions on the tag exactly. Two of the buttons fell off and it lost its sleek shape. I'm so disappointed in the wear of this coat.
I wanted a trench for so long and took the plunge with Joan's. I love it. It fits like a glove and feels quality. Bought black. I'm 5'1 120 and the small was perfect.
I loved it but had to return it for a bigger size. The large was cut small.
Sizing is a major issue with this coat
I bought this coat about 3 years ago in size 1x and in a turquoise blue (I see this color is no longer available). Since it fit perfectly and I've been looking for another trench coat in the classic khaki color, I decided to reordered this coat in Stone in the same size. Well, the coat was way too small! Since I thought this was odd I made sure to try on my original coat to be sure it still fit and it does. So I sent back the 1x in Stone and requested a 2x. When that arrived & I tried that on I was swimming in it!! So I returned that. I guess I'll just be satisfied with the aqua blue coat and look for a khaki-colored one elsewhere.
Besides the sizing issue, I would say this coat is a bit heavier than what one would wear in the warmer months. It's a good weight for spring & fall. The styling of the coat is very nice and looks to be made quite well. I just wish the sizing issue was the same as when this coat was first introduced.
I received this coat last month, and I'm very pleased with my purchase. It has a great fit, and it's warm. The coat does wrinkle in the back somewhat, but I can live with that.
hate sewing new purchases
Loved the coat but not happy about sewing all the buttons back on. They were actually falling off.
I received this coat on "wait list" after 29 days. It arrived a beautiful fuschia size 1x. I noticed that it smelled and thought maybe it was the dye. The entire area around this coat in my home smelled so bad. Every time I walked by the area it got worse. It seemed to small like greasy cigarette smoke. By closely examining the coat I could see creases on the coat in the back bottom edge. It looked like someone had worn the coat and the creases were made by sitting down wearing the coat. There were no tags and the coat looked wrinkled throughout but was in a fresh (not original) bag. I've never had such a thing happen with anything that I've ordered from QVC. I have returned the coat and hopefully don't have to pay the return postage. And I hope no one else gets this coat sent to them. But I really really liked the coat, not the smell.
