I ordered the blue and true to the sales pitch, it's a sapphire blue - which is what I wanted. The sleeves could be a little longer, but then again I'm long and lean - so I'm not going to fault the coat for that. All in all I've found the quality of the coat I received to be really nice and I love the animal print lining!!

This coat is truly beautiful!! It has a great sheen and a wonderful fit!! It is the perfect trench coat. ...it can be worn casually or a little more formally!! Great value for the price too! A definite recommend!:))))

Wanted To Love It. . .
But it wrinkles easily, and all the buttons needed to be resewn or reinforced. (One button feel off immediately after opening). The trench coat's design is excellent; the execution, however, was not. I'm surprised the buttons passed quality control. While this may be a minor issue for some, I don't fell like sewing something brand, spanking new. Joan, I like you and your fashion savy but let your manufacturers know what they need to work on.

I got this coat in the Navy and let me tell you what, I feel so park avenue whenever I wear this coat. There's a sateen to
the coat that's lovely, and the cut of coat is such that it emphasizes where you want and whittles the waist. Joan, you are

Fuchsia Trench Worth the Wait!
I ordered this on the watlist; it took about 3 months for the fuchsia to get in stock. The long wait was definitely worth it; as this color looks SO fabulous on me! The coat fits comfortably and the leopard-print lining contrasts nicely with the fuchsia color. This is a bold, sexy trenchcoat; I have Joan Rivers' trenches in several bold colors and patterns including metallics and leopard prints; I chose bright colors for the solid color trenches (purple and orange in addition to fuchsia). I have had the fuchsia trench for 2 months now; I wear it on days when the temperatures are above 45 degrees (below that I need a full-length trenchcoat). I usually wear this with a leopard-print scarf and fuchsia beret - definitely eye-catching! Keep up the good work Joan and QVC!

This coat is so pretty...
I purchased this trench coat in the pink color about two weeks ago and I feel very fashionable when I wear it every morning. It is so pretty and well made. I do not know the words to describe the material. It does have a sheen to it, but NOT in a gaudy sort of way. The material feels substantial and it drapes on my body nicely - much nicer than the other trench coats on the market that are stiff and/or made of cheap material. This trench coat is, of course, nicely structured and looks good on my 1X plus sized body. Within the first three days, I received many compliments (about 9-10 from all different sources and walks of life) including my boss who happens to be a male attorney. He has never complimented me before in the 8 yrs that I have worked for him. I highly recommend this trench coat to all women - particularly the mommy crowd that needs something fashionable yet easy to maintain. It is so much nicer than many of the other options out there. I feel that I can wear this to work everyday at the law firm and courthouse, as well as the grocery store and the park with my little boy.
This was my first purchase at QVC. I came across this items during a Google search. The coat arrived very quickly and folded nicely in a plastic bag. My transaction with QVC went very smoothly and I would not hesitate to purchase from them again in the future.

Perfect fit, style, color!
I love this stylish trench coat, the attention to detail & finishing is wonderful. I especially love the lining. My only request is that they would make a large silky scarf that matches the lining to go with this trench coat!

Nice Coat but Fabric Too Shiny
Giving this coat only 3 stars was the hardest thing for me because it's a great coat. It fit me perfectly and the pink color I chose was the perfect pink. Sadly I chose to return it because I didn't care for the shine in the fabric. It looked like I was wearing a pink bathrobe. I would have preferred a traditional trenchcoat fabric, at which case I would have bought one in every color. Maybe this coat looks better in the darker colors.

A good buy!
I've been waiting for this trench to return in the tan in my size and I lucked out. It's a lovely coat, wish it were longer (remember the old London Fogs?? What's wrong with longer to really keep me dry??), but I like the material and the stand-up color, and the detail on the back is very showy! It's a good coat, glad I got my color. I'd definitely buy another LONGER version is you ever make it!!!

BEAUTIFUL CLASSY CLASSIC!!
Received this yesterday. It's a beautiful trench! I had a hard time deciding between the pink and the black. In the end, the pink won. I was a little concerned it would be too much. But this color pink works great. Lovely and oh, so feminine. It is a good material. Quality workmanship here. I'm impressed with the attention to detail. The contrasting lining is the perfect feminine touch. This is a classic and I will be returning to purchase in the black as well. This is my first purchase from Joan and I couldn't be happier Thanks Joan!

GORGEOUS!
This is my first Joan Rivers clothing purchase and I'm thrilled. I ordered the Navy - which is more of a sapphire blue -- and it's absolutely gorgeous. The sheen is beautiful, without being too shiny or dressy looking. The fit (I ordered a Medium) is perfect. My normal jacket size is 12 - Large, but I looked at the sizing chart for this item and decided to go down one size and it's perfect.
I am so looking forward to wearing this come Spring and getting out of my usual black.

COMIN' BACK FOR MORE!
This is simply a gorgeous coat. Of course, everyone says that. I like the fact that it makes me look like I dropped 20 pounds. No matter how "frumpy" the rest of me looks, when I put this on to go out, I look great. Very polished, very on trend. I bought the black in a size medium and although I'm probably more of a large, it fit. Either size would have worked, but the medium, although tight when buttoned (I never really button), is much more flattering. I'm 5' 9" and although should weigh in the 140's-150's, uh... haven't seen those numbers in a while. I plan on getting down there again, but will be happy to see 160. So, I hope that helps someone with sizing. Because I'm tall and my weight is evenly distributed, it probably looks like I weigh 160. And, the medium works, again, a little tight if I button, which I don't. Will purchase the light pink or khaki when it is available on easy pay again.
