Monday-to-Friday Smoothies

Serves: 7 smoothies

Ingredients

  • 1 cup coconut water
  • 1/3 cup frozen raspberries
  • 1/3 cup frozen strawberries
  • 1 Tbsp chia seeds
  • 1 Tbsp flax seed
  • 1 Tbsp honey
  • 1 banana
  • 1/4 cup sliced almonds
  • 1 tsp fresh lemon juice
  • 1/4 tsp fresh grated ginger

Preparation

Put one cup of coconut water, 1 teaspoon of fresh lemon juice, and 1/4 teaspoon of fresh grated ginger into seven separate containers in the refrigerator.

Put 1/3 cup frozen raspberries and 1/3 cup frozen strawberries into 7 separate plastic baggies in the freezer.

Combine 1 tablespoon of chia seeds, 1 tablespoon of flax seeds, and 1 tablespoon of honey into 7 separate containers and leave them in your pantry.

Put 1/4 cup of sliced almonds into 7 separate containers and leave them in your pantry, too.

Set aside 7 bananas.

Each morning, take one of each container, one baggie of your frozen fruit, and 1 banana, and blend it on medium high until smooth.

Pour it into your favorite to-go cup or enjoy it in the comfort of your home to start the day off right!

Cook's Notes

You can easily use almond or oat milk in this recipe. And if you prefer a thicker smoothie, substitute the coconut water for Greek yogurt.
