Mary's Mule

Serves: 2

Ingredients

  • 4 oz. bourbon or whiskey, divided
  • 1 12-oz. bottle ginger beer, divided
  • 1 lime, cut into 4 wedges
  • Ice (cubed or crushed)

Preparation

Fill either a highball or mule mug halfway with ice.

Pour 2 ounces of bourbon, squeeze in one lime wedge, and top it off with 5–6 ounce ginger beer.

Garnish with lime.

Cook's Notes

To give this a kick, sprinkle a little cayenne pepper over the ice before making the drink.
