It was between this and the Wusthof classic. I love the handle and balance. I am glad I went with this one. The arched bolster is a much more comfortable hand hold for me.

The ergonomic handle felt equally at home in my large hand as my partners smaller hand. I can’t recommend this enough it’s the best knife I’ve ever used.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from A little disappointed [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This knife looked really nice coming out of the box and had a pretty sharp edge, but as I started to use it, the weight is definitely shifted more into the handle than I like. It makes the tip feel a little harder to handle, and doesn't feel as precise. But the biggest problem I found with it is that only after a month of use it's already staining and rusting, and this is stainless steel. So, I will be contacting Zwilling about this because that shouldn't be happening. I will say on the positive side though, this knife handles cutting large chunks of meat and lots of vegetables really well. The only problem I've had chopping something is with slippery foods or onions. In the case of onions, I found that while the knife can cut through them easily, the tip of the knife kind of gets stuck because it's so thin and all the weight is in the handle. So I find myself having to pull the knife out with a little more force than I like.
