Rated 3 out of 5 by from Not level These cake plates are very pretty and I had hoped to use them as a display on my dining table; however, the smaller one is not straight so sadly they are in my cupboard and will be used as needed instead of displayed

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Pink Cake Srands These are very pretty and a lovely shade of pink. I really liked them but unfortunately on one of the stands the top was not level. It tilted to one side. There appears to be a quality problem where they are produced as I ordered 2 sets of these and both had 1 cake stand that was not level. I hope these are offered again and they learn how to attach the cake plate to the stand so it’s level.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Somewhat Disappointing I received these cake plates in blue and u could hardly tell the color! It was so faint blue that it looked more clear ! It was only in a certain light or tilted in a way that u would be able to see the color - also thought that they were on the small side for the price ! I sent them back !

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Beautiful Cake Plate--Just Thrilled With It! I finally got my cake plate(s) on March 31, but it was shipped on March 18. It is a long story that involves UPS getting it to my city on March 19 then handing it off to the Post Office who shipped it to Atlanta where it went around the Mulberry Bush until I complained to the PO customer service last Friday and, again, yesterday. Anyway it is here, and I could not be more pleased, and I am so glad it was not damaged with all the shuffling around it went through. As said in the presentation, it does look like Depression glass, and I look forward to using it for numerous food items as well as splitting up the two pieces to use as pedestals. If it is offered again, get it if you love beautiful things.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Very disappointed I ordered Valerie Parr Hill's ruffle edge, blue cake plates, a set of 1 small and 1 large. When I opened the box, the base of the large plate was broken off. When I tried to take the plate, poorly packed with crumbling foam and ill-applied tape out of the box, the bottom layer of foam broke away. The plate hit the floor and shattered into large and small shards. If this happens to you, please be careful, the glass doesn't just break, it shatters. I am so disappointed.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from So nice! These are wonderful cake plates! Love the ruffled edge, and extremely well polished - no rough areas. Would definitely buy these again

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Beware Of the Easter orders I made, I was most excited about receiving this one. However, all it took was to open the box it came in to see the huge crack that split the visible plate. Only a very thin layer of styrofoam covered it. It was almost doomed to break in shipping. What I could see of it beyond the crack looked lovely, but there may have been other cracks that weren't visible unless the whole thing was unpacked, so back it went. Valerie--Please protect your lovely things from such damage with better packaging. What a shame to have to throw this away.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Yes they are pretty, however I think they are a little on the short side, why couldn't these be a tad bit taller? And how come there is no coordinating dome for the larger stand? if you use this to put a pretty cake on, then wouldn't you need a dome to keep the remaining pieces that weren't eaten, fresh to keep them from getting stale? I believe the answer is YES, c'mon Valerie, go the extra step and complete the offer. I guess I can put a big plastic bowl over my pretty half eaten cake...
