Everything you need
This blender does it all. I got it for my smoothies and it also comes with a Recipe book and shows you how to do many different things like dishes desserts smoothie bowls pizza dough. I love that i know now even more what this blender can do.

Cup leaks but blends better than pitcher
My boyfriend bought me this for Christmas and have used it almost daily for the past 6 months.
My only 2 complaints are that the lid of the cup can leak when drinking and I’ve had my shake drip on me multiple times. I’ve tried twisting the lid on tighter which doesn’t help and results in me being unable to unscrew the lid myself. It happens more when you drink a lot rather than just taking a sip. Another issue I’ve had is that “stuff” is super hard to clean off the grooves where the base meets the internal ridges of the cup. If you don’t legitimately clean the cup with a bottle brush immediately after drinking, good luck getting the gunk out of this spot.
I’ve tested blending the same thing in the cup and the pitcher and the cup definitely blends drinks a lot smoother than the pitcher. The pitcher leaves little ice crystals in it while the cup makes a very smooth drink.
I’d recommend this as long as those things don’t bother you. If it would drive you insane, find something else.
PS: it’s VERY loud

very versatile
Loving this blender! Made chocolate chip cookie dough without the flour mess using the dough preset. Smoothies are quick and easy also using the preset. The only thing so far I don't like is not being able to add ingredients as it blends. I drink protein shakes as part of my diet. Adding the powder all at once I get small lumps of gooey protein. The same with using xanthan gum in dressings and frapuccinos. Other than these few things, it mixes up quickly and well. I haven't tried bread dough yet. That will be the next test.

ON POINT!!
I had a Vitamix (older model) and decided to upgrade so I researched a couple of different brands. After watching videos and reading reviews I decided to purchase the Ninja Blender. I have been very impressed by the performance and sleek style of the unit. Hands free is an amazing option that comes standard and having the ability to choose the setting is even better! I've been getting creative with the recipe book included! Lots of fun! Worth every penny.
