Rated 5 out of 5 by from Highly recommended Unit This unit is large and works awsome. We have had our unit for 3 months and have tried several recepies. The food tastes so good when pressure cooked. It really brings out the flavor. The directions were inside the box and easy to understand.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from DO NOT BUY!!! This has the worst instructions I have ever seen with any kitchen product. It does not give any instructions regarding how much water to use with each of the 14 Settings and no recipes. It refers to a 2/3 line when doing the Water Test...this line doesn't exist. The pressure valve has two options-airtight or release..and they are not marked on the machine so I think they want you to just guess! Do not buy...you will need to pay $11 to ship it back.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Pleasantly Surprised! I had never heard of this brand and was a bit skeptical but I liked the features and the value. After using it now for a couple of weeks, I must say that I am pleasantly surprised at the quality and value. The stainless steel inner pot was the selling point for me because I did not want one with a coating that eventually peels off in your food. I looked at purchasing a different brand and would have had to purchase a separate stainless steel pot to get what I wanted and spend nearly twice as much. All the settings work and the food cooks great. I would highly recommend this pressure cooker. Also, as noted by others, the directions are basic and there is no cook book included but it you have used an appliance pressure cooker in the past, these should not be issues.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from love it I just rec'd this cooker, and used it over wknd to cook chicken and bones for the dogs. Worked great. One issue, is that the directions were very lean, and I had to figure out a lot for myself. POOR directions. NO recipes. But I will experiment and by my self. It did the total job of cooking the bones to mush, and I could then process them and broth wit some chicken to make a gelee for the dogs. The dogs never really like chicken much before, but now crazy about it. So it worked for the purpose I bought it for. HOWEVER, I would like a recipe book for other things. QVC needs to offer this.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Quality! My unit came with directions and I read them but I could not find the minimal amount of liquid needed to cook with this unit. I consulted an expert and was told the minimal amount of liquid to use with any pressure cooker is 1 1/2 cups. I cooked beans first and I used the pre-programmed bean button which is programmed for 40 minutes. It took the unit approximately five minutes to come up to pressure before the countdown began. The unit beeps similar to an Instapot and the interior stainless pot Is heavy duty with a nice heavy bottom similar to an Instapot. I also cooked a small batch of soup and I used the pre-programmed soup button and I believe it was pre-programmed for 25 minutes. The soup came out perfectly. I then made a very large batch of soup that was over 3 pounds. The directions recommend using the manual button for anything weighing anything more than 3 pounds. I used manual button set the timer for 40 minutes and it took approximately seven minutes to come up to pressure before the countdown began. I also used the sauté button for both batches. I thought it worked great. Much quicker than on the stove top. I’m very happy with my purchase. When I purchased my unit I already knew what I was going to cook. I don’t need a recipe book the directions for the unit are minimal however the only question that they did not answer that I could find was regarding the minimal amount of liquid. I would not hesitate to recommend this unit to a friend.
