Rated 3 out of 5 by from Packaging for shipping not the best I just received my machine and already used it once. It worked great. The reason for the lower rating is related to the shipping packaging. The box was making a 'clanging' noise when UPS delivered it. When I opened the box, the attachments were loose, so they had made some scratches on the unit and bowl. Disappointing as this could have been resolved if the attachments had been properly secured and my refurbished unit would look a little more 'new'.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from A powerful tool This mixer is a powerful appliance that easily mixes the largest batches of batter. Once we got the beater adjusted, it has been a dream to use. The stainless bowl is very easy to clean. It has no trouble mixing anything, is relatively quiet and so heavy that there is no vibration or shaking. The plastic pouring shield does not fit the bowl very well, and if you start mixing on a lower power, I don't think you really need the shield for spattering anyway. It is a large appliance and heavy as I said, so moving it around is not easy, and you need a bit of counter space to leave it out and ready. Because the head does not tilt, it is slightly awkward to add ingredients to the mixer from a large bowl even in the down position. (This review was collected as part of a promotion.)

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Kitchen Aid is the Best My 600 Pro Line mixer is 31 years old. I made bread, pizza dough, muffins etc everyday! It just started to make a noise and is over heating quickly. I cannot be upset. I paid $350. 31 years ago which is equivalent to $650. today. So I just bought my second mixer, for the same price as my last one. I know it will give me great service it’s a Kitchen Aid. RIP ol’ yella. You worked hard and above and beyond daily...

Rated 5 out of 5 by from You “knead” this! Like others during quarantine, I tried to make homemade bread. Never knew kneading dough was hard! My poor spaghettini-like arms did an inadequate job of it. After DH choked down the dense loaf, he bought me the Kitchenaid Pro 600 Stand Mixer the very next day. The unit is easy to use, easy to clean and easily makes me look like I know it what I am doing in the kitchen. How have I survived without this kitchen appliance all these years? Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great power I bought this a month ago and have used to too many times to count with my to small boys. We made fresh pasta, cakes, cookies, this thing has a ton of power. Great product. (This review was collected as part of a promotion.)

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Pro 600 I bought my Pro 600 a few years ago. It’s great at mixing batches of cookie dough but anything heavier than that it struggles. There are time I switch the power to off & it continues to mix! I literally have to unplug it to stop the mixer! Also it never mixes the the batter at the bottom of the mixing bowl. There are things that when whipping that don’t whip as well as my inexpensive hand mixer. I saved my money for some time so I could purchase this mixer. I couldn’t wait to upgrade from my small tilt head 4.5 quart kitchenaid as I do a lot of baking. It’s been a bit of a disappointment. When this one konks out I’ll go back to the smaller version that really was a work horse for me.
