Beautiful sweater vest— the varied knit stitching on the sweater is like a work of art! Tho I can not wear regular wool clothing( too “scratchy”)-this merino wool is soft enough - and wearing over a other garment works... and SO pretty on! Sized as a “normal size” you wear / tho I ordered one size up to have extra room over “heavier weight tops”- and have more of that beautiful knit sweater fabric around me.
Can be worn year round if you have chilly summer nights and need warmth.I love the charcoal gray color as can be worn with just about everything- and still a light enough color you can easily see the Beautiful knit variety stitches that appear as “art” when wearing the garment! Yay! - finally got my “real Irish wool sweater”! Thanks QVC for making this item available —and at a cost I could afford!

Beautiful, but
The 5 stars are for the quality, the color and the beauty. But, I returned both the charcoal and blue marl. The feel was very cozy soft and the stitches are gorgeous. Just because they are not my taste or style that fits my shape I feel that should not lower the stars deserved this garment. I put on and my husband said they looked not the best on me, very matronly. I agree they made me feel dowdy. I said maybe I should order a larger size, he said no it fit just looked not right on me. I have several irish sweaters and love all of them and was looking forward to having a vest, too. Oh well, I will wait until Rose of Tralee and/or next spring to see a sweater then.

Unbelievably itchy
I so wanted this to be a wonderful vest- between the color and the style. I put it on over a long-sleeved shirt and within five minutes I almost ripped it off. Five minutes later I was headed for allergy meds because I was itching so badly and sneezing. No part of the vest was touching open skin, either. I can't believe that when the buyers handled it they could not have ascertained that it was scratchy and stiff. So sad. Returned.

Always wanting an Irish knit, I waited for a vest as I think it’s more versatile. Beautifully made and perfect color— denim, it’s very comfortable. I usually take a 1X in Tops and decided to order an XXL because I do like loose fitting and some overlap.

Fit the bill
I love the quality Irish wool QVC has highlighted for many years and this vest did not disappoint. The color is lovely and fit right into my wardrobe. Great to just throw on for running around. Provides warmth when I need it, but is breathable to stay comfortable. Love it.
