Essentrics Aging Backwards Kit w/ DVD Set, Book, Streaming & Workout Plan is rated 4.7 out of 5 by 15.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love Miranda I love this program. It is excellent. I’m 70 and tore ligaments in my ankle and dislocated my shoulder more than 20+ years ago. All this gentle movement has improved my joints. It’s so easy to do.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Gentle Effective Exercise I have problems with back pain and spasms. This program is gentle, relaxing, and effective. I feel more flexible and have less back issues.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from What a difference this made I recently retired after 38 years of sitting behind a desk. I am 63 yrs old and now have the time to focus on my health and body so I can enjoy a long and healthy retirement. I do this workout first thing in the morning and what a difference it has made. I have much more energy and flexibility during the day. Love it!!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from My mom loves this program I got this for my mom (62) and she loves it. It is challenging but not at all overwhelming. Miranda provides lots of great information about aging and the body.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Poor instruction technique I agree with the other reviewer who liked the concept but not the teaching technique. I think she goes too fast - this type of stretching and exercising needs good form, otherwise there is a good chance of hurting the back. I sent it back.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Seen on pbs I haven’t bought this set but know the exercise method is good. I have several sessions of Classical Stretch, Miranda’s PBS show, saved on dvr and enjoy them. Another routine I’d recommend is the late, great, Callan Pinckney’s Callanetics, if you can find one of her books or videos. Callan was doing ballet-based “barre” in the 70s and 80s, long before it was a thing. She hasn’t gotten the credit she deserved.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Concept is great. Poor on instruction. Concept of aging backwards is appealing. Now going on 3 weeks of following DVD. MIranda is poor on instruction. Miranda is poor on talking you through the exercise. Does not let you know when to change sides/feet. Loses track by not equal reps for left and right. You must be looking at the video as her instruction does not let you know what the next step is. I don't think my neck is relaxed as I have to constantly look at my TV to determine which side is being worked on. I feel that I work on one side more than the other as Miranda loses count when switching sides.. She does have beautiful backdrops.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from it's fun! I discovered Essentrics when I lived in CA and had pbs on tv- last year I moved to Chicago and no pbs- have had to order other series online. Loved getting the book and dvd's on QVC! What a nice surprise! I am 75 and have been doing it for a few years -enjoy it! Thanks Miranda!!
