Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not the same I was disappointed. These were not the same as the original. I'm sure my feet have changed but the thing that held them on your feet was a rise under your toes. There was nothing much for your toes to hold on to. The band across the top seemed more narrow (front to back) as well. That also probably contributed to not being able to stay on your feet. Maybe the softness was a factor as well ... Don't know. They were softer. That's the only improvement, but again, that could have been a disadvantage. So they went back. Disappointed because I wanted the real thing.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from A sorry makeover I had the original from back in the 70's. Nice wood sole, toe grip, leather upper with an actual buckle and in red. These are no where near as good as the original was. The foot bed has no toe grip so my food slid forward. They couldn't even give us a real leather up with the original buckle. Instead we got man made and a Velcro flap with an "decoration" buckle. They look just like what they are, a poor imitation of the original. If you wore the original back in the day then you know what I am talking about. If you don't want to bring back the original wood foot bed then keep that base but add the toe grip and for god sake at least give us a leather strap with the original buckle closure! It might be for you but not for me. There is an old saying that goes "IF IT AIN'T BROKEN DON'T FIX IT!"

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very cute I almost didn’t order these because I remember the original ones being very heavy with the wood bottoms and not too easy to walk in not sure why everyone is complaining about them not being the uncomfortable wood. I finally saw the host and guest saying what the bottoms were made of now and that’s why I ordered them. I got the bright yellow. Love the fit and the big shines buckle. They are very slimming on your feet

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Disappointing They looked so cute online that I was excited to get them. They are different than the original wooden ones. The soles are more comfortable, but the top is all plastic. After wearing them around the house for about half an hour, they started rubbing me raw. Needless to say, they are going back.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Disappointed These are not the Scholls I remember. I did not expect wooden soles but the strap is NOT leather and the clasp is FAKE. The strap is fastened by velcro...a cheap knockoff of an iconic shoe by the company that made it.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Not What I Expected Even with the Velcro as tight as possible, these constantly slid off my feet. They were plastic/rubber as opposed to the old school wood ones - which probably is a good thing for me ..I broke ankles a few times in them lol. These just weren't for me.
