I was very disappointed in my purchase. My toast only sort of browned on one side. The wattage was not disclosed on the box or the paperwork, so I was unable to make a good decision when purchasing it. My old Kenmore 1200 watt toaster is back to work until I find another to replace it.

Cuisinart 2-slice Toaster
I like it a lot. My needs and expectations from a toaster are modest, but those cheaper toasters just don’t cut it with me. The Cuisinart makes good toast pretty quickly; it is solid and does not feel like it is going to break every time I use it; the “defrost” and “reheat” functions actually do their job. And it is attractive on the cabinet. The only thing I might change is going to a four slice model...because I find myself eating more toast these days.

As soon as you plug it in, there's a buzzing sound. The first toaster was very loud, and I got it replaced (great customer service, A+). The replacement toaster was not as loud, but definitely a humming sound when it's plugged in, loud enough that I unplug the toaster after every use. Otherwise, love the countdown feature, and it toasts well and evenly.

Cute little toaster. Seems to work well and quickly. Hopefully won’t break after 18 months like most do. The two-year warranty was a selling point.

Reliable, attractive and effective
This is our second Count-down toaster as we loved our first one. It is easy to tell just when your toast will be ready, a nice feature when getting breakfast ready.
