Garbage
Worst “Alexa” product on the market. Have had nothing but problems from day one with this unit and have had it replaced and still problems. Double the size and double the money and triple the problems of the smaller echo dot.
DO NOT BUY THIS ONE, NOT WORTH IT!!!!!

I’m Hooked on Alexa
There is so much more that Alexa can do for you than I ever imagined. I like to play a certain song on command, ask Alexa to wake me up from a nap in an hour, add items to a list, remind me to do things or calls to make and I’m sure there’s even more she’s capable of. The only drawback is I wish it were louder like blaring loud!

Love echo's!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been using this newest generation of echo for about a month. I have several of the older generation Echoes within my home as well as Echo dots and Echo shows. I even have an echo Studio and I guess you could say that we love echos around this house! The product works amazingly! The unit works very well! The speaker quality is amazing!!! It picks up our voices easily and at least 95% of the time from across the room. My only complaint, and it's a small one, it's the big round shape. I know that that's to imitate a piece of art or to be any more visually appealing but for us we just prefer the smaller version. It is much less obtrusive in our decor and it's easy to tuck in behind other things where this machine is not. Other than that one very small detail we love this one as much as we loved all the others!

Multi-Functional with Great Speaker Sound
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was very excited to receive our new Amazon Echo. I am very hands on with taking care of my parents and who knew a small device like an Echo would us so much with our daily routine!?
The Amazon Echo (4th Gen) was very easy to set up. Once plugged in, you simply download the Amazon Alexa App and follow the prompts. Make sure you keep the Echo nearby when syncing and setting up. Once we followed all setup instructions, it was ready to go! We tested it with many different commands and enjoyed many laughs during the process.
My mother recently had a fall and couldn't get to her phone to call anyone. I was able to sync my mothers phone to the Echo so that all her contacts would be available to call on command. She can now tell Alexa to call me (or anyone else in her phone contacts), hands free. As long as she's in hearing range of Alexa, she will be able to make a call. I plan to install one in every room in the house because of this reason. Not only does it give me peace of mind that she can call without having her phone in hand, we can set reminders to take her pills at specific times during the day, add items to her calendar and set a reminder hours prior to her appointment to start getting dressed and ready, add items to her grocery list, and so much more! We also enjoy playing music and even trivia games during my visits. It's great being able to ask Alexa a question and get an answer immediately. She a wonderful Assistant and I wouldn't want to go a day without her now!

Amazon echo works great and blends in nicely!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The voice clarity on this is much better than other ones I have heard/used in the past. It is nestled nicely in the corner of our kitchen and does not stand out like a sore thumb. It comes back with results and responses rather quickly and is a great fit for our house!

Awesome for Music, Info, and Voice Commands
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We decided to give Alexa a try with the Amazon Echo.
The Echo was easy to set up. A few basic instructions, and we were off and running! We use it primarily to listen to music and ask about weather. We've played games on it a couple of times and really liked "Escape the Room." We've disabled purchases on ours so we don't have any mishaps (especially with the kiddo), but we may explore that more in the future. We also use it to keep up with our shopping list.
One of the best things about our Echo is that I was able to set it up with a smart plug to our TV. The setup was simple, and now we can turn our TV on and off with a voice command. This is especially convenient because we don't have a remote for the TV itself, so we were having to turn it on manually before. The Echo is connected to our Firestick too, so we can navigate that by voice command now.
The main drawback for us is that my husband and I cannot both connect our Amazon accounts to the Echo. We've tried everything. Because of a technicality, we have to wait six months before we can be in the same Amazon Household, so only one of us can be associated with our Echo. We even tried using Guest Connect, but Alexa is telling us this device does not support Guest Connect. Maybe in six months we'll be able to set it up so we can both use it fully.
We also noticed the Echo is rather large compared to our previous smart speaker. We thought this might be due to superior sound quality. Although I have no complaints about the sound quality, I wouldn't say it's better.
Overall, we're impressed with Alexa and our Echo. It's a convenient way to listen to music, get info, connect with other home devices, and stay organized. I would give five stars if it weren't for the issues with connecting two adults and the large size. I would still recommend this to a friend, but would make sure those aren't dealbreakers for them!

Excellent sound!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am an Echo enthusiast. I have various Echo models in every room of my house. I love them and I use the Alexa virtual assistant dozens of times daily. I was very excited to try out this new 4th gen model. It was super easy to set up. The sound is excellent - music is full and clear, no distortion, and it has a good amount of bass. Alexa responds immediately to me saying her name and has no trouble hearing me. I was not a huge fan of the spherical shape at first, but it has grown on me. We are working on making our home a full smart home. We have numerous smart plugs, smart bulbs, smart appliances, et cetera, and so far all of them have worked with this Echo and all of our Echoes. We use our Echoes to set reminders, find out the weather, find out what time restaurants and stores in our area are closing, make hands-free phone calls, and so many other things daily. These little devices have become invaluable to us. I do very highly recommend this 4th generation model.

Great sound quality and functionality.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've had this Amazon Echo 4th Gen for a month now and am really enjoying it. The one thing that just really stands out is the sound quality. I'd swear I was listening to a speaker that was even quadruple the price or more, and those wouldn't even come with all the functionality. We listen to music all of the time on it. And as I mentioned, the functionality is great. We use it for alarms, timers, shopping lists, weather, and even to turn out the lights using a smart plug. We have our favorite radio stations set up and it's as simple as asking Alexa to start playing them. No turning the dial. We're like the smart plug functionality so much as well, that we're thinking of getting a bunch more plugs and getting more whole house functionality out of it. We even accidentally dropped it one time, from about 4 feet, and it didn't have any damage at all. So it seems to be made to take a little bit of a beating. And set-up was super simple using the app. So I can recommend this version of the Echo for sure, and we'll probably be getting more of them to get that great sound (and functionality) all throughout the house.
