Technique 11-pc Hard Anodized Dishwasher Safe Cookware Set W/ColorSmart
NOT SCRATCH RESISTANT
These pans are the worst........scratched easily. I used teflon and plastic utensils. I am throwing them away. Would be embarrassed to donate to anyone. I have replaced them with Blue Jean Chef pots & pans. Much better quality and for less money. QVC you did not do your homework on these Technique products...quality is very poor. They do look nice but that's it.
This is my second set of technique and we have given sets to other family members as well. They are just wonderful-was beginning to think that qvc had stopped carrying them. Glad to see this is not the case. Suggest qvc bring in more sizes of pots and pans again.
it is not scratch free
Horrible. I bought it and the first time I used it with plastic utensils it scratched immediately. Worst qvc purchase so far.
These are the worst pans I ever bought. After making chili the pan never came clean again. They scratch very easy and the coating comes off. So looked forward to a new set of pans and absolutely hate them. What a waste of money and a huge disappointment.
Beautiful and so easy to clean
Not only beautiful and easy to clean, cooks so nicely. Large chicken fryer is great for browning chicken or beef, covering and continuing to cook on slow. Each piece has been used and all perform nicely.
It was good for the first 3 months. Now stained, with metal utensil scratches. The non stick doesn't work, Going to try to return Have the set since Sept 2013.... Bad product. I have other sets from Technique that are 5 yrs. old and looks like new.
I love my pans.
I have a high end set of pans that I bought when I married 10 years ago, however; I was attracted to this set because of the non-stick, lightweight, oven safe features. I bought the black when it was presented as a TSV and over a half a year later they are treating me well. Non-stick is wonderful. I wash these by hand and only use silicone utensils. Gave it only 4 stars because, as compared to my other pan set, they feel (cheap), I have a few scratches visible on the outside, and I wonder how long they will last me. (I cook almost every night). But you get what you pay for people. Oh, my favorite part is the strainer lid on the large pot! I do enjoy Technique!
My niece is just starting life as an adult and needed some pots and pans so we gifted her with our old Technique set which we'd had for about 10 years. I purchased this set because the old ones held up extremely well, plus it had a steamer basket which I LOVE.
Unfortunately, this set isn't anything like the old one. Within 2 weeks the large fry pan had several scratches in the coating (I don't use metal utensils so I don't know how this could have happened). My husband burnt the boiled eggs again (something he'd done countless times with the old set) and now the pot has black burn marks where the eggs sat in the pot. Most of the set's bottoms are terribly discolored as well.
I bought this set 6 months ago and they're in much worse shape than the 10 year old set I now regret giving away. They still work but.. I don't expect them to last 2 years let alone 10 years.
Very good pots
This set of pots are a very set of pots. Nothing much ever sticks to them. But they are easily scratched but other than that, they are a good set of pots.
Peeling non stick
I will need to go out and buy new pots and pans again. These looked so great when we got them we got rid of our other cookware. The coating inside these pans are peeling off and is scratched they are unusable.. So disappointed I guess it was not such a great deal.
Just So So....
I really liked the look of this set... But I noticed the first time after cooking with them... There were little scratches left on the inside.. And I don't even use metal utensils!! I was very careful with them and they still get little scratches... And the bottoms of the pots and pans that sit on the burner scratch up really badly. :( I do notice my food heats up faster in these, just a little.... But I have to be careful because things will stick! And that gets worse over time. I bought this set in red later last year. Now I am wishing I had bought a set from Rachel Ray. I kept my old set and honestly ...
I still kind of prefer them.
This cookware looked nice but is cheap and disappointing. It scratches very easily and sticks after a short time. Its only been a few months and I am searching for new cookware.
