Hawaiian Dip

Serves: 1 qt

Ingredients

  • 8 oz of cream cheese
  • 2 Tbsp of plain nonfat Greek yogurt
  • 1 (8-oz) can of diced pineapple, drained
  • 1 (8-oz) smoked ham steak, diced
  • 4 strips of bacon, cooked and chopped
  • 1 cup of grated cheddar cheese and 1/4 cup cheese for the top
  • 3 Tbsp chopped green onion, for garnish
  • Butter crackers for dipping

Preparation

Heat oven to 350°F.

In a medium mixing bowl, mix the cream cheese, yogurt, and pineapple together. Then, add the diced ham and bacon, and mix well together in the bowl. Add in the cheese.

Once you have everything mixed well, add it to your greased baker dish. Spread out evenly in dish and top with the rest of the cheese.

Bake for 15 to 20 minutes or until the cheese is melted. Garnish with fresh chopped green onion and serve.

Cook's Notes

You can try this recipe with SPAM or bacon bites. If you like a crunch, add some chopped macadamia nuts on top.
