Chocolate-Cherry Port Wine Fondue

David’s Note: The combination of dark chocolate, cherry & wine makes this a decadent dessert you can't wait to dig in to.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 8 oz dark chocolate
  • 1 oz cherry brandy
  • 1 oz port wine
  • 1/4 tsp almond extract
  • Store-bought brownie bites, for serving

Preparation

In a small heatproof bowl, add the heavy cream and dark chocolate. Melt gently over a barely simmering water bath, then use a whisk to combine until smooth. Whisk in the cherry brandy, port wine, and almond extract. Pour the liquid into a fondue pot to keep warm. Serve with brownie bites for dipping.

Tip: You can dunk more than just brownies! Cookies, cake & fruit are all great dippers.
