What makes the Bose SoundLink Wireless Mobile Speaker-LX special? This battery-powered mobile Bluetooth speaker easily connects wirelessly to Bluetooth audio devices and delivers performance you would not expect from such a compact device. Its shallow depth and integrated cover allow it to conveniently fit in your hand or bag, and the durable construction and elegant appearance let you travel in style to all of your destinations.
What Bose technologies does it use? It uses proprietary Bose acoustic, mechanical, and electrical technologies, the most prominent being the dual-opposing passive radiators, which allow the speaker to have high-quality low-note performance in a small enclosure. With the radiators placed symmetrically opposite each other, the SoundLink Mobile speaker reduces unwanted and wasteful vibration, turning that energy instead into acoustic output. The unique, proprietary "waffle" shape of the radiator surrounds also enhances sound performance.
Can I use it outdoors? You bet--remove the brown leather cover and use the included nylon cover for extra protection outside--just avoid placing it on wet, dirty surfaces. Either cover unfolds into a convenient stand so you can set it up and share your music anywhere. And because a car charger is included, you can power up your speaker on the go, while heading to your destination.
If I don't have a Bluetooth-enabled device, can I use this speaker? Of course--a stereo cable is included so you can easily hook up non-Bluetooth-enabled devices, such as your portable digital music player.
