Perfect Desktop Fan
I was looking for a small fan to simply keep air flowing while I'm sitting at my desk. Nothing too strong which over time would dry my eyes out or make me feel uncomfortable. This model has two speeds, high speed setting is the first notch after turning on and its quite powerful. I prefer the next setting or low speed, perfect setting for me. Nice, smooth consistent flow of air, super quite unit, looks great on my desk.

Stylish, inexpensive way to keep everyone comfortable
I recently moved into an apartment with two ceiling fans - one in the living room and one in the master bedroom. I have placed Vornados in every location in the apartment beyond the range of these two fans, including the sun room, guest room and dining room. One an each nightstand in the guest room allows each guest to personalize the amount of desire cooling by adjusting the speed and direction of the little fan. The Vornados are especially appreciated in the dining room. Unlike a ceiling fan, the Vordados can be adjusted to cool each diner without suffering an unwanted cooling of food.

So one day I was using this fan and when I went to get something, about 5 mins later I came back and it was smoking so I immediately turned it off and unplugged it. Even if this had not smoked I would never recommend this fan. It is loud, cheap, and weak.

Best Desk Fan EVER!
This fan is amazing! I use it everyday at work. It is powerful yet very quiet. I have had other desk fans that made awful noise that disrupts the office. I recommend this fan to anyone looking for a good desk fan.

I don't even know what this is, but it's not a decent fan.
It's pretty and articulates, but that's it. I can't see it being used anywhere like it's pictured on the box. 'High' speed is barely anything and 'Low' should be labeled 'Use Electricity for No Reason'. I really wanted it to work but I would use this as a gift for someone I hated, honestly. To be fair, "High" does move air, so I guess it isn't a lie. But a foot away, it isn't anything but a loud vibration because it vibrates. Not like it's going to fall over but like any surface becomes loud. Don't get this. Do not get this for you or your pet. No one will benefit from this and your loved ones might not talk to you and your pet may poop in your shoes. I can't guarantee it, but I would if I were them and you got this for me. It won't do anyone any good. I wanted it to work but for my first Vornado fan but now I wonder if anything could actually work.

Powerful little fan!
I use this in a small bathroom to get air circulation. 4 stars because controls, both the oscillate switch and the front speed switch, are awkward to handle. But it gives a lot of air movement, the white is attractive, and you can close the top when not in use - may keep it cleaner.

Durable - Reliable
I have had my Flippi V6 for 5 years now, running almost daily for 10+ hours. I like a little bit of white noise and a constant breeze.

Started smoking - Returning the unit
We bought this for it's compact and easily transported features. We are staying in hotels and need the extra white noise and air circulation. 3 months into owning it, it started smoking one night. Thankfully my son is very sensitive to smells and woke us up before it causes a fire. Sending it back.
