Rated 5 out of 5 by from Never put this away I love this container beyond reason. I put off the purchase thinking I didn't really NEED it, but oh, yes, I do :). With skim milk and chocolate syrup I can make a chocolate milkshake that is as creamy as a high calorie version. The foam for coffee is incredible and makes hot chocolate heavenly too. Since the recipe book doesn't include all the recipes I wanted I went online and have found them all. As if my Vitamix wasn't already worth its weight in gold, this container doubles its value.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great for coffee drinks! I purchased this on the Vitamix TSV day when it was on sale for $99. I've been using it so far for froth and foam for my coffee--been mixing almond milk, skim milk, agave & cocoa powder. This makes a delicious, lo-cal coffee topper that's going to enable me to stop using all those high calorie- high sugar flavored creamers! To me, it's worth it just for that. When the weather warms up , I plan to try some muddled fruit drinks & fruit whipped toppings. This is not a necessity but a nice add on. I use my regular Vitamix container all the time ! The only downside to the Aer is the recipe booklet is pretty useless-- found much better info online.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from DISAPPOINTED IN THE RECIPE BOOK! I bought this item based on the recipes. I always hesitate to bake desserts with meringue. This canister appeared to be fool proof from the demonstration. This recipe is NOT IN THE BOOK. I know it would be a simple recipe but would have appreciated having it since it was demonstrated. You know, like what speed, how long, etc. Come on guys--don't just cater to the drinking crowd. Come on down to simple and new home cooks. Haven't decided whether to keep it or not. I based my review not on the quality of the product, Vitamix is an awesome machine, but rather on the lack of instruction on what this pricey addition can actually do, other than mix drinks and foamy toppings.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from LOVE THIS FOR ESPRESSO FROTH I tried it when I first bought it, to whip some whole organic milk to a froth, I didn't read the book. I added maybe a cup, and blasted it as high as it would go, and for a couple of minutes, but it was very disappointing, hardly any froth. I read the foam instructions this morning. Placed about half a cup in, and gradually increased the speed to 6 for about 15 seconds. I was amazed, no liquid milk remained. Just a lovely billowy froth, which I scooped out into my espresso coffee. It was worth buying If that's all I use it for. The book has instructions for Mojito, Strawberry Lemonade, Hollandaise Sauce, Tomato-Basil Vinaigrette, Garlic Aioli, Chilled Chai Latte, Hot Chocolate, Pisco Sour, Raspberry Whipped Cream, Blackberry Panna Cotta and Ice Cream Brandy, that's all. Then the rest of the book is in other languages. The pictures look nice.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Basically its the same container i already had Ok let me start by saying I love my Vitamix.. But this container to me seemed Pointless. All it does is whip or Mix.. My standard container will do this. The tamper made me MAD. thin Plastic and Hollow very cheap plastic junk. The on air presentation made it seem as though it came with multiple blades It does not. I just failed to see the Value $99.00 for a container that just stirs drinks. I sent it back.. THAT Tamper is Horrid! Vitamix I am extremely disappointed in the lack of quality.. I also Did not like the lid it would have not stood up to any kind of use for long it was that strong plastic but the snap on and off feature NO!!!!
