Very disappointing
I love my VM.
I thought this would be grand. I tried both cold half and half then cold milk. No increase in volume. Some bubbles but not froth.
Wish I had not wasted that money.

Best Hot Chocolate
I got this attachment with my vitamix so I didn't need to purchase it separately. I didn't really know what if anything I would use it for. When I first got it I made lemonade with it and it was good but not great. I felt I had to strain it because I didn't like the pulp in it. But I was happy at the time because I found a use for this container, I have no use to make hollandaise and I don't see myself making whipped cream enough to NEED this container. Although I did like that the lid snapped tight so in theory you could just use it as a pitcher and stick it in the fridge. Then one day recently I was like let me give it another shot to find something I can do with this. I looked through the recipe booklet again, which honestly the recipe booklet on this isa major let down because it has a lot of pages but only like 5 recipes then each recipe repeated in multiple languages, anyway I found a hot chocolate recipe and I was like let me give it a go and try again. It was literally the best hot chocolate I ever had. The foam is everything, it gives it a light taste. Plus the ingredients are things I always have around milk and chocolate chips. Now as for shelling out the extra money just to make hot chocolate, or whipped cream, I don't see that as being worth it. But if you make a lot of those things or if you can get a hold of this some other way it is a great attachment.

Not as shown on TV
When I saw the demo on TV it looked so easy! When I have made my froth for my coffee it comes out sometimes but others not. Not sure if it's the kind of milk I am using or not but for the price and the results I am not sure I made the best decision!

So disappointed in Vitamix and QVC
One of my biggest defects is not returning things and I have decided to work on that. Along comes this Vitamix with NO MOTOR!! That was only the beginning of my problem. I called in a spoke with a rep and she hung up on me. She asked if I had a return slip I said I will be back. It took a second and she hung up on me. So I called back and spoke to the rep that answered she could NOT have been nicer. Wrote down everything then transferred me to customer service. This was a man. He said he would have a manager call me this morning and before I knew it Donnie had hung up on me too and no manager has ever called me. So.. all I can say IS if this is normal maybe I haven’t missed much by not returning things. I DO NOT BELIEVE THAT QVC IS LIKE THIS NORMALLY. ABOUT THE VITAMIX THE HANDLE ON THE PITCHER IS TOO THICK FOR ME. THE WHOLE PITCHER IS NOT LIKE THE NORMAL QUALITY OF VITAMIX.

Amazing add on piece
LOVE this container. It muddled mine perfectly! Also the cookbook that came with it is amazing!!!! Every single recipe is one I would use.

Sent back - too tall
I ordered two containers, one with a 4-blade mixing for dough, etc. and one with the round blade. These are tall and take a lot of room trying to store them.
I don't know why Vitamix doesn't make containers that you can change the blade and not have so many containers to deal with.
Nothing wrong with them; I simply can't find space to store them.

Vitamix Aer Disc Container makes wonderful foam
This Aer disc just came in the mail today. The Vita mix machine also just came today. Fastest delivery ever.
I made a foam because I had never used a vita mix before . It was very easy to make. Just follow the directions. I love this Aer Disc container.
