Travelon Walking Seat and Cane-In-One is rated 4.3 out of 5 by 16.
Rated 3 out of 5 by from Seat is TOO small! I was looking forward to receiving this cane/seat for use when I was out and about and needed a quick seat. Well, I tried it out and ended up on the kitchen floor! The seat is about 5 inches in diameter and you need to straddle the cane to sit on it properly. Most women would not be comfortable straddling anything in public. This device is designed for a small person who does not weigh very much. The description says it will hold someone over 200 lbs.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Overall, no problems I'm getting ready for a knee replacement soon but we're heading for vacation first so I bought this to take with as my knees are a problem when standing for very long. Since we'll be visiting Mesa Verde and other Southwest archaeological sites this was a must in my books. I've tried it out and I believe it will work very well. I searched other websites and was glad to find this on QVC. The price compared with others of this type (some were more expensive or held more weight) and shipping was very quick. I also liked the easy pay option so there wasn't much invested in case it arrived and wasn't what I wanted. Overall, I'm satisfied this will work as I want.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Very small seat This would be ok if you are a smaller person. The seat is small and you have to straddle it. It is also hard to open and close and you can not adjust it for your height. It will be ok for use once and awhile.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Should Be Great For My Trip Bought this for my upcoming trip to Greece. I have low back pain and need to rest frequently when walking any distance. Have tried other portable seats and found all of them lacking (too low, too heavy, inconvenient to carry, etc). I even purchased a similar walking seat cane at a local medical supply, but it weighed twice as much as this one. The Travelon is quite light weight and really works well as a cane AND a seat. I gave it only 4 stars because it is not height adjustable, one has to straddle the seat and face the handle for stability, and it is very stiff and hard to unfold. Other than that, it's perfect. :-) Have been practicing using it here at home, so I'm looking forward to using it on my trip. Maybe another review might be appropriate when I return.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from NOT HEIGHT ADJUSTABLE My husband had surgery. I purchased this cane to encourage him to move. He felt unsteady on his feet, and dreaded the possibility that he might fall. He is over 6 feet tall, and has to lean into the cane/seat to use it. This is not the best possible support, but he really likes the attached seat for periodic breaks. This cane CANNOT be adjusted for a person's height. Be aware BEFORE you purchase!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great ITEM No buyers remorse on this item. Taken this to concerts, travel and walks. I have a torn meniscus and do not have the stamina as in my younger years. The chair folds out easily. I also get many inquiries about this item.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Seat Cane It's exactly what I need. I purchased this because I can't stand in the checkout line when shopping; my back is bad. This cane is lightweight and I can either put it in the cart or hang it from the shopping cart handle while shopping, then use it as a chair while waiting in line. I'll be able to face the cart and move as the line of customers does.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Rated Only My Health Condition I am a 64 year old woman suffering from Orthostatic Tremors. For me, unfortunately, it did not help. It is lightweight, seat is comfortable for short periods of time because of its size is what probably contributes to it's weight, however did not like the fact that for safety reasons you have to sit facing the cane part, for my condition it's not easy to do. I would still recommend because what didn't work for me may work for others, but maybe not so much for anyone that suffers from OT.
