Rated 5 out of 5 by from I have Owned This For Years! Luv It! I just read the Negative Reviews & Wonder If Folks Are Missing The 4 Separate On & Off Buttons for the Different Options! Sense I have used this so often over the last 8 years, I have learned what Button goes for Which Option! I only just Discovered the On Button for the Entire Machine, as on the Older Models like mine, it is not clearly marked, like this new one is in Black( I have had it in the On Position, for Years! Then there is the Button Next To The Charge Lights (It tells you how Strong Ur Charge Is) There's the Power for the Compressor! Power Button for Inverter & USB! I have used this in Power Outages, Camping, Blowing Up the Tires to my Lawn Mower (staring the lawn mower), Air Mattress, Charging Phones & More! I am getting ready to order another one for my daughter for Christmas! She used mine at a Crafts Fair & fell in Luv With It! I Urge You To Learn Your Stanly Power Machine, it is Amazing!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Junk Used it twice to inflate tires. One night it started beeping, the next night the air compressor came on all by itself and would not shut off. There is no off switch for this thing. Now it won’t even charge anymore it just makes clicking noises when plugged in. Tried emailing Stanley about it, never got anything back from them. I googled this and apparently I’m not the only one who now has a paper weight, cuz it’s toast now.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from not worth the price to use 3 times I just called the company since I lost power last week and wanted to use this, I have used this unit 1 time to blow up pool floats, last summer the compresser didn't work, however I have used it two times for lamps when the power was out and it was great,, however last week we lost power for the day and went to use it for the lamps nope didn't work only a flashing red light.. so I went and brought in both of our halos and they did great, so will be sticking to them. the lady was kind but she said it was just is done,, so landfill here it comes

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very happy with this jump starter I have used this Stanley many times to inflate my tires at home and to start batteries for myself and neighbors. My maintenance man where I work liked it so much he asked the boss to purchase one for the maintenance yard. Very good product and powerful enough to start a dead battery when the smaller Halo starter could not. (I have both because we have 2 vehicles). I purchased one for my son because he is an avid camper and he uses it all the time. I gave one to my daughter and she at first thought it was kind of a stupid gift to give her but I said well someday you might need it. She had a dead battery one evening and had to be going to work the next morning at 4 am and was concerned about what to do. She used this and got to work on time.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Works for me A neighbor lent me his FatMax and it started my engine, so I purchased one here. I had an issue with it that I can't recall, and sent it back for a replacement. The second one has worked great. Have used it to start another neighbor's car several times. Also used it to inflate a tire on a friend's car. That process is slow, but it does pump up the tire. Like to keep it handy if there's a storm and a chance of losing power. That way I can plug in my phone charger or even a lamp. As a test, I left a 60 watt lamp plugged in until the FatMax had no charge left. The lamp stayed lit for 14 hours. If a car battery is too low to start the car, this thing has enough umph to start it right up. If the car battery is drained all the way down, you might have to hook up the FatMax and wait about 5 or 10 minutes before the car will start. Giving it 4 stars instead of 5 due to the first one having to be sent back. I would recommend it, mostly because of the 1400 amps of power.
