These projectors are really for "outdoor" use because they include two ground stakes. However, They don't include any base for indoors. When you sit it on a flat surface it will stand but, as soon you position it the projector falls over. Not happy with this problem. Other laser light projectors include "both" stakes AND a base in order for it to stand up.
Not happy with product.
It should only be advertised for "OUTDOOR" use

I bought these last year and used the clear as part of my Halloween decorations for the month of October. Packed them up and put them away after that. Just pulled them out late this afternoon to finish my fall and Halloween decor (i'm really late this year it's been too hot in FL!) got them set up and left for an hour to go out for dinner. Came home and one had quit working. The lights were on but super dim - not even enough to project on to anything and I can feel the motor turning so I don't know what's wrong with it. They've been staked in potted plants under a covered front porch and used for a month and now one doesn't work. Hopefully the other one will make it thru Halloween. Great price and love the look, but not worth the money for 4 weeks of part time use! I'm too close to the airport to use the laser projection lights so I had hoped that these would be a similar look.

I took a chance on these two lights knowing the price may reflect the quality. I plugged one in and it may have given 6-8 hours of use over several days before it failed. It wouldn't be worth the effort to send it back with the postage paid.

I purchased these lights because I thought the clearance price was a good price and because I wanted something different for the outside. As soon as I received them, my husband tried them out and they were defective so back they went.

I have the green lights and need some more. But all that is available is red. When will other colors be available?

Can,t imagine why they got a good rating. First set I got one did not work. Took the two out this year for Halloween and after using them for under a month last year one is already not working. Waste of money.

I have not used them yet but I thought they were supposed to have timers on them and these do not. I will update after I put them out for Christmas.
