Safavieh Thessaly 5-Piece Set is rated 3.0 out of 5 by 1.
Rated 3 out of 5 by from Rusts Almost Immediately I purchased this set a couple of years ago in white. It is a very sturdy and pretty table and chair set and the distressing makes it look really lovely. However, if you do not cover this set anytime it isn't in use you will find it rusts almost immediately. Then, you have bright orange pools of rust on your patio. I tried to solve the problem by putting an outdoor rug underneath it until I could have time to put a protective coating on the entire set but it didn't matter. A normally wonderful outdoor rug that would otherwise wash away any dirt easily was ruined with the same rust stains. So in trying to protect my patio I sacrificed a nice QVC outdoor rug instead. I have been contemplating using Rustoleum to fix this problem but it is going to completely change the look of the set which was the reason I bought it in the first place. Additionally, my set was missing a nut needed for one of the chairs. I contacted the manufacturer's customer service and was told they don't carry spare parts (in an almost appalled fashion which was surprising) and they didn't know when the set would be available again for me to even get a replacement. Don't just go for how it looks, make your decision on how much work your willing to put into keeping it look nice and not ruin everything else you own. For the price paid I don't think the consumer should have to have a game plan to fix a very important problem where you can't keep this outside without issue.
