Ryka Mid-Height Training Shoes - Devo XT Mid is rated 4.3 out of 5 by 38.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing! These are my first pair of Ryka's, per fellow dance instructor recommendations. I've been buying even more expensive name-brand shoes for dance for years, but after 8+ months they wear down doing 2-3 classes/week. Plus I have wide feet with high arches, so it's hard to find shoes that accommodate both of those features. These are, hands down, the BEST athletic shoe I've ever worn. The heel is amazing; I had no clue my heel could feel so comfortable in a shoe! The arch support is great. The width is perfect (I ordered a 6W). I love the velcro; I can keep them tied and just velcro to keep them on. Great cushion for inside and outside. Just all around can't ask for more. Get them!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great for Zumba/Dance Aerobics My 7 wide feet are very happy. No break in time required. Great for my dance classes. My ankles seem to be less wobblier.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Recommend with reservations I have worn these shoes for the past several years because I love the extra cushion and support they provide at the ankle. Rykas fit my foot better than other brands and this shoe provides a more narrow heel , with wider forefoot and open toe box. The shoe is more flexible which allows me to jump, point, flex and make quick movement changes without cramping my feet. Unfortunately the quality has gone down recently and they fall apart quickly. I've worn this pair for 2months and the outside layer on the soles of the shoes has started to peel away and the velcro is not holding at the ankle causing me to stop ,readjust the strap several times during class. I wear these shoes only for Jazzercise class and I take 4 classes a week. Previous pairs held up better and I did not have the problem with the velcro coming loose. The soles of all Ryka's I've worn n the past 2 years has pulled away and I worry about bits of rubber getting caught under my foot and causing me to roll my ankle. Because they fit my foot and have the cushion I need for my joints , I will keep buying them until I find something of better quality.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Lots of cushion but stiffer shoe I prefer mid/high tops for my higher impact Zumba classes and own both influence and tenacity styles so I gave these a try. These have the best cushion support but like the mid top influence does not lace all the way up Also, I found that it rubbed against my ankle at times. It is also heavier and stiffer shoe. Fit true to size and no break in period needed. If you prefer light weight & breathable - influence mid top; ankle support - tenacity; cushion - devotion. If you could add the cushion of this shoe to the tenacity style, it would be the perfect shoe for me.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great support, These are very supportive shoes and easy to put on and take off. Have worn high tops for decades and was concerned with using velcro strap rather than laces. Did not pull laces or velcro as tight as I usually do full laces and the shoe fits comfortably with no slip. First order, I used the size I've ordered in past, but toe of shoe is very stiff and hurt - ordered half size larger and shoe fits great. Had trouble with carrier, but called Ryka and they were supportive and opened a trouble ticket.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Wanted to love but..... I ordered these shoes and loved them for the first few times I wore them. About the second week the laces tore out of the plastic triangle on one foot. My whole Zumba class it was flopping up and down. The next week the other shoe tore out. I'm done with this style! I love Ryka and it surprises me that they are continuing to produce this shoe with this style. I'm going back to my Tenacity shoes which I LOVE!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from LIKE WALKING ON A CEMENT FLOOR I have several pair of Ryka sneakers that I purchased about 10 years ago. I liked them so much I purchased several colors. I still wear them and they are comfortable. I paid under $50 for each of them. This pair was over $100 with taxes and shipping. I will not be purchasing any Ryka in the future. This shoe has no support or cushioning whatsoever. I knew the minute I slipped my feet into them. What happened to Ryka? It's as if I was walking on a cement floor. No arch support and no cushioning underneath. I cannot believe Ryka has come to this. It cost me$11.75 in shipping costs to try on a shoe that is worthless. Sad.
