Rated 5 out of 5 by from Work's Lets face it, those of us who need to lose weight, need to, because we have not learn about portion control, or we would not be in this bout and i admit it. Bad habits and eating the wrong amount of foods, puts on weight. No this is not Gourmet Food, this is a plan design to teach you portion control, and how to eat 6 times a day, the right amount of foods. I have been on this program less then a week, and my stomach is already sinking in, which means, i am losing weight. It is teaching me that spacing out my meals, helps in the aid of losing weight and what foods you can eat, and it is all about portion control. I am a cook who knows how to cook everything and am very good at what i make. This program has already taught me how to still make my meals taste good with a little tweaking. I am losing so i believe in this program. Tonight i made my own Meatball Marina Sauce with onions and mushrooms and green peppers my veggies. I used very little oil, and still use whatever seasonings i want and still losing weight. In the morning if i have a muffin, i also have a small piece of fruit. In the evening when i have my snack which at night is a piece of their cake, i put a dollop of Ready Whip on it with raspberries, or strawberries on top. and believe me i am coming down, i can already see the progress, which will keep me on this plan, and learn a healthier way of eating. Getting back into my cute clothes is more important then stuffing my face with the wrong foods and wrong portion. This program works, if you stick with it. And believe me you can make the foods taste better, i do, and am still losing weight. It is not Gourmet Food, but also not the worse. It is a matter of making excuses not to lose, or having the will power to get healthier and learning a new way of eating. And this is exactly what this program is all about. You can still eat the foods you love after you lose the weight, you just will change the recipe around a bit or eat a smaller portion. I would like to see QVC also sell a kit of the top Frozen meals that customers love. Maybe a kit of 21 would be good. Stop making excuses that the food taste bad, like cardboard, for me it is no more excuses, it is a matter of learning i can eat 6 times a day, and this program is teaching me that i believe when you eat and what you eat has a lot to do with how you lose weight. I am happy with the food and this kit. Note i am a coffee drinker in the morning i am not awake without my coffee, i put coffee creamer in my coffee and no not the sugar free one. Anything i do now i will not change, because after if you add these things, that will probably add in some weight gain. Within reason of course.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Damaged Products A bit disappointed as one of the lunch entrees (soup) had opened in the box leaking on some other entrees. Some of the breakfast and lunch bars were smashed flat but still edible. Luckily only that one lunch entree was damaged. Unfortunately to see if the opened soup can be replaced, I need to contact Nutrisystem for more information...think I'll pass on the hassle for one entree. On another note, the food tastes pretty good and has helped me to lose weight. I only eat the Nutrisystem breakfast and lunch; modified dinner on my own and am still able to lose weight. Would recommend to anyone looking for a weight loss plan...just disappointed with the packaging of the shipment.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect portion sizes The Nutrisystem food is much tastier than a few years back. The portion sizes are perfect for what an adult female should be eating in combination with extra veggies, yogurt, and health snacks as advised by the plan. Of course it won't taste like my favorite steak or pasta meal at a chain restaurant, but it does keep me on track without having to think about whether I am getting the proper amount of nutrition. It is important to remember this is part of a diet plan to change poor eating habits.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from could improve what is in it I love nutrisystem, but I wish they would allow QVC to somehow let you chose what you want for breakfast lunch and dinner. Too many bars, muffins that are horrible and most of the dinners and lunches are ok. I like it because they are porportions to what you should eat . I hope that made sense yes I did purchase this

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good for a kick start! This is a low calorie low fat diet plan. I do mean diet because you eat very little amounts of highly processed food. With that being said I do use this program to get me in control of my portions. I also find that even though there is very, very little food I am full.....which frankly makes me think there is something in these foods that curb your appetite..... so for that alone I will continue to stay with nutrisystem products. They are less expensive at Wal-Mart but the variety is limited.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Taste First of all let me say the system works. But any system will work if you stay on it. Especially a system that has as small portions as this one does. I bought the entire plan and received 2 shipments before I stopped delivery. So this was not a case of not giving the product a chance. I did lose weight on the program. The first problem is with the ads which make the portions look much bigger than they actually are. The picture of the cereal for example looks like it is a nice big bowlful. Nope it might be a half cup at most. Same with the soups. The bars and muffins are tiny. I have found similar items that are larger with fewer calories and less fat. And tastes much better. The second and most important problem is the quality and ttaste of the food. It is just awful. Not one of the items is really tasty. Much of it is almost uneatable. The pizza breads are tough and tasteless. Usually when I made one, I ended up throwing it away because I could not chew it. The entrees all seem to have the same sauce. And they all taste terrible. I went through two months before I just gave up and cancelled any further orders. I still have a lot of the food left. Just cannot stomach it. Some of it actually makes me feel ill for hours after I eat it. And the aftertaste is yucky.I finally reached the point where I just could not force myself to eat it any longer. However, I am still losing weight. Just eating real food that tastes good. So if you are looking for something to get you jump started on a diet, this can help. I have put off writing this review for a long time, but I felt I owed it to my fellow QVC shoppers to give a warning. Buy this stuff at your own risk. But don't fall for the advertising. It works and you will lose weight if you can bring yourself to actually eat the food. I say save your money and use Lean Cuisine, Healthy Choice, or any number of other brands of prepared food or buy the food and cook from scratch.
