Best purchase ever!
I received this 2 days after I ordered it. I'd been wanting to try my hand at Zuppa Toscana (the Olive Garden soup) and thought this would be perfect for it. Made the soup in 1 pot. Browned the sausage, then the bacon and all those bits were left on the bottom of the pot. I was thinking it was gonna be a real pain to clean. Boy was I wrong! Went to put the soup away later in the day and NOTHING was stuck to the bottom or sides. Wow! Even heating, cleanup's a breeze, doesn't get any better than that! Like Daddy always said, you get what you pay for!

Le Creuset 9 QT Dutch Over
So happy I made this purchase. Have already used it for gumbo! If you purchase Le Creuset, stay with the signature series as the pots can be used at higher temperatures and are better crafted than the regular cookware.

7.25 vs 9 qt
Like some other folks reviewing this, I coudln't decide if I should get the 7.25 qt or 9. I decided on the 9 because for all of the Sunday's that I've watched in the kitchen with David, I do remember him and Meredith Laurence saying that you can always cook less in a bigger vessel, but you can't cook more in a smaller vessel. I ordered this Thanksgiving nite and it came this afternoon (11/24). I was pleasantly surprised and excited to see the iconic orange packagingI didn't realize it would be here that fast because I had made pot roasted chicken earlier in the afternoon with my usual dutch oven. I look forward to next weekend when I will try the recipe using this vessel.

Awesome Pot For Large Stews/Soups
Love Le Creuset! This pot is very generously sized for large portions of soup or stew for an entire family. I replaced all my Calphalon with Le Creuset and I am so pleased. Yes, this pot is very heavy but the quality can’t be beat. Follow the care instructions and you’ll have this for life. Would make a terrific gift for your mother, father, adult child, best friend, etc. Costly but well worth it!

I love this pot
I love this product . I have been looking at it for quite awhile now . I couldn't decide on which size to buy , so I went for the 9 quart . I leave it on my stove top all the time . And I use it for just about everything soups , stews , frying and roasting . This is a wonderful purchase at a wonderful price .

ABOSLUTELY WORTH EVERY PENNY!
This was a Christmas gift for my son and his wife. He loves it. He is a big foodie does 90 percent of the cooking for his family so he asked for this. I had it shipped to his home and told him he could not use it until Christmas Day.... that didn't happen. He tore it open washed it, lectured his wife on use and read care instructions to her twice (she can be a little hard on pots) lol. He then went to the store with a grocery list and used it that evening. Easy clean up, he absolutely loves it. He has made roasts, soups, gumbo, jambalaya and a host of other things. It is heavy and heavier after food is in it.
His children said, we think he loves that pot more than he loves us. QVC had it on easy pay for 6 payments. That was a huge help making me the best Santa of 2016!! Thanks QVC.
Shh... Santa will be bringing the Signature Series 5-Qt Braiser for Christmas 2017 for them.

LE CREUSET 9 QUART DUTCH OVEN IS FANTASTIC
This Dutch oven is great for making large batches of soups, stews, chili and roasts. Even cooking and a breeze to clean....I also have the grill pan, the 3.5qt braiser and the 4.5qt oval with the grill pan lid. Love them.
