KitchenAid Ice Cream Maker Attachment with Ice Cream Scoop is rated 3.4 out of 5 by 81.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from It works Well we made ice cream! So cool. It was tasty. Downside, you have to freeze the bowl for about 12 hours before and between making batches. Overall it is exactly what we wanted.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Love my Kitchen Aid but, We were very disappointed with ice cream attachment. It takes too long to make small amount of ice cream. Otherwise, we love our kitchen aid, had mixer for at least 15 years and it works as good today as it did when we first purchased.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works Like A Dream! After watching how-to videos and reading ALL sorts of reviews for this KitchenAid attachment, we decided to go ahead and try it. I am SO glad we did. I was nervous about some of the reviews about the container leaking or the connection parts breaking, but following the CLEAR directions right out of the box we enjoyed homemade ice cream a day after it arrived. It was easy to set up and worked like a charm. I didn't have any issues at all.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Kitchen Aid does it again! It's just the best thing ever. I got organic strawberries at the farmer's market. Use a Mother and Daughter recipe...berries, cream, milk, sugar, salt. It's just so wonderful! Kind of an overfill but ok. Next, Browned-butter pecan with bourbon! You'll love it. I used a 2 qt. pyrex measuring cup that I picked up somewhere and it helps I think since the pour into the running machine could be dicey without a pouring lip.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from not impressed I'm sad that I'm not impressed by this attachement. I felt the process took to long and unless you have a huge freezer it takes up A LOT of room.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I'm gonna'gain a gazillion pounds & die happy I've had probably over a dozen different ice cream makers over the last 40 years - and this is the FIRST one that actually makes ice cream like it's supposed to - and I'm really excited (I'm old - I get to be happy about really simple stuff) about how easily this works - the walls stay colder than any other maker I've tried before... important note: do NOT try to lick any droplets that may drop on the unit while pouring the mixture in or the ice cream out -
