KitchenAid Ice Cream Maker Attachment with Ice Cream Scoop is rated 3.5 out of 5 by 34.
Rated 1 out of 5 by from Waste of money Should have returned this item . The part that attaches to the mixer is extremely difficult to attach and will not stay in place. David said it works on all kitchen aids stand mixers other than the smallest one. Maybe it works on the newer models but if you have one of the older ones from years ago it does not fit properly.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Save your money! I've tried several recipes and not one has firmed into anything resembling ice cream -- or even a milkshake. The first time, I froze the attachment for 48 hours and made sure all ingredients were cold. The next time, I froze the attachment for five days. Same results -- a waste of money and ingredients. I don't like eggs in my ice cream so used "egg-less" recipes. It's too late to return it because I thought it must be me, but after today's disaster, I think it's this attachment. Save your money or buy a stand-alone ice cream maker.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love This ICE CREAM Maker!! I read the instructions 2 times and followed the instructions to the letter. I made my own recipe of strawberry ice cream with company watching.........It was unbellievable. I videoed it and put it on FB.......I had many comments, asking where and what this was........ I was happy to share the info about mine from QVC.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Impressed I used my ice cream attachment for the first time today. I made the vanilla in the instruction book. It was so easy and was delicious. A hit with the family. It took a little prep time, but was well worth it. Looking forward to trying some other recipes.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Makes Really Yummy Ice Cream I used this product for the first time. I made the vanilla recipe in the instruction book. I was surprised at how easily and quickly it worked. It may take some time to chill everything but once it goes into the unit the mixture quickly thickens. This ice cream maker is just another reason to love my Kitchenaid. I had considered purchasing a more expensive stand-alone appliance and am so happy I found this product.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Too much trouble. Need to plan ahead a few days before making ice cream which doesn't work with having grandkids. Also thought it is pricey for what it is. Can do a better job with my vitamix. Sending it back.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from recipes Are there any other recipes besides what comes in the manual? Kitchenaid/quickstart was no help. Looking for chocolate ice cream recipes.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love This Attachment This ice cream bowl makes the best ice cream. The bowl looks small, but it makes a lot of ice cream. It is very easy to use and easy to clean. I put it in my Lock and Lock to freeze. It stays fresh and does not pick up any frost or odors. Of course, it is not in the freezer for long because it is so good.
