Don’t toast evenly on both side
I bought the toaster a year ago. Since the beginning the toaster doesn’t toast evenly on both side. It takes a long time to toast in comparison of my previous toaster. We need couple of attempts to push down the toast. It doesn’t stay down.
It's also a fat toaster for technology that exist for a very long time.

Love the features
(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) I bought this toaster a couple of months ago and I'm really pleased with it. A couple of features I especially like are the 'cancel' button when I choose the wrong setting for the bread and the little sound the toaster makes when the cycle is complete - sounds like no big thing but it's really nice retrieving your toast while it's still warm, no matter how busy you are.

Great working toaster!
This toaster works well for THIN or THICK cuts of bread besides looking good in Red. It replaced my old (still working) toaster, because of the width of the slots,

I feel like we waited for a long time to catch this on a sale (Thank you Mother's Day!).. I love that the contour silver matches our Kitchenaid mixer perfectly. I waited so long for this purchase, that I really wanted it to be perfect .. but I was shocked to find that the toaster is MASSIVE. It definitely does not look like a household product, more commercial sized. The toaster is practically the same size as our mixer!! Thankfully we have a large pantry and can take it off the counter for storage … but it is not small space friendly.

Beeps loud
I have three Kitchenaid appliances. The toaster is durable & pretty good quality for the price. However I don't need a loud beep to know my toast is done. It wakes up my family. My toast is only toasted completely on one side. The buttons are nice, wide toaster slots pop up nice.

Not a good toaster.
Very disappointed in this. Have lived with it for a few months. Only some of the coils light up. On setting 1 some of the bread is dark and other parts not toasted at all. Both sides toast differently. On setting 2 most of the bread burns. I have other kitchen aid countertops that I absolutely love (professional stand mixer, hand mixer, duo blender) I also have a new convection double oven that I love! Sadly, the toaster is terrible.

Not as good.
I had a Kitchen Aid 4 slice toaster for years but a piece broke off of it and could not be replaced. I decided to go to a 2 slice toaster and bought this one. The quality has really slipped over the years. Very light weight and does not toast as well. It is not substantial at all. I am sorry to say but it is not worth the price. What a shame the product is not what it use to be.
