Rated 5 out of 5 by from Happy as can be I have been cooking for years and at this point in my life needed a change, so, I got an Instant Pot. There is a learning curve and I have not been successful with everything I have made, but with each adventure it gets better and better. Made the BEST Bolognese sauce in it, great for soup, the list goes on and on. Have been using the Instant Pot several times a week and guess what, no dirty stove to clean, one pot only to wash. I just love it.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from QVC gets defective merchandise. I will never purchase another electric appliance from QVC every again. I have bought two KitchenAid food processors from QVC one was returned because it did not work and the replacement food processor did not work either so now I have to go through KitchenAid to resolve this problem. I never even used it! it still has the original packing! Never used. This is why QVC's prices are so low because they are not the quality that you would find in a department store. Buyer beware.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love this pot as a pressure cooker I am excited about cooking again. I have already tried the egg button (hard boiled eggs), the saute button (bacon), pressure cook (mac & cheese), the soup/broth button (cream of butternut squash and ginger soup - from recipe booklet). What I like most is clean-up is easy and that is why I enjoy cooking in it. I do think the instructions in the user manual and recipe booklet could be more precise. You have to be intuitive. It doesn't say use the soup/broth button. it says cook at high pressure. I just tried the slow cook function and the result was very disappointing. After 10 hours of slow cooking a pot roast on normal heat the vegetables were still raw. I have turned the heat to more and am waiting to see how much longer to cook. I have googled this issue and the consensus is that this does not slow cook well. Bunk!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from It has a brain! I have tried a beef roast with potatoes and veggies and have been quite satisfied with the results. So last night I thought I would try the recipe I have seen on TV a zillion times. You place frozen chicken pieces, uncooked pasta, and spaghetti sauce in the Instant Pot pressure cooker and secure the lid and set the pressure and time. Well, I put too much pasta and not enough sauce in the Instant Pot and as it began to cook, the message window said “burn”. I couldn’t believe it knew enough to message me. I did burn the bottom of the pot, but with a little soaking, it came clean. I finished the food in my oven. I am really impressed with my Instant Pot and anxious to try another recipe, perhaps from the cookbook this time. I would definitely recommend this pressure cooker to anyone who might be nervous about trying a pressure cooker. I am sold on it!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Viva Instant Pot Love it, fast easy moist until you understand the mechanics always use a recipe and add water. Best part if it burns it tells you and stops the cooking process. Used it for Thanksgiving made mash potatoes, turkey soup, cranberry sauce, and hot apple cider. Love this machine.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love it! Use it at least once a week When I first got it, I had to cook 2 chickens and a carrot tzimmes (stew). I did it all in under 2 hours even with the time to pressurize. Tender moist chicken. I couldn't believe the carrot tzimmes cooked in 4 minutes (plus pressure time). It's so handy, easy to use, easy to clean. There a many instant pot recipes on internet. Nothing like having the right tool for the job.
