Zumo or bust
Just received my Zummo XT just now learning all the functions getting familiar with the unit so far I like what I see I can’t wait to use it in the real world situation so can’t say much about it for now but will give you an update.. oh there is one thing the way it’s mounted on the base Mount i’m a little worried I’m skeptic how well it will hold up wish they figure out a better securement on the unit attachment we’ll see what happens..

Big Miss
Back to the drawing board the XT needs to go. Slow processor. Does not easily work with 24k Topo maps. There is more unneeded cartoon features and not enough real world off road Topo detail. Might be good for a M/C commuter but not for the off road rider

Crystal clear screen
The Zumo XT is the best Garmin GPS that I have used to date. The screen is like looking at a picture perfect map under glass. The graphics are extraordinary and as clear as the other displays.

Impressive! But still not as good as phone apps.
I bought this product because mounting my phone tends to break it's camera.
Things I love:
- The touch interface is awesome! It works with gloves and all, terrific!
- The connectivity is impressive! Connected to phone and Sena and wifi. It does it all!
- The explore web app and how it syncs. Exactly how I'd like this to work. Nice job.
Things I like less:
- The routing. I prefer the apps Scenic or Calimoto for routing. They just find better roads.
- The importing. Trying to import a route plotted on an app leaves a lot to be desired. If I'm importing a track I don't get turn-by-turn directions. If I'm importing a route I don't exactly get the route, I get Garmin routes between route points. I'm left writing on my own software to convert tracks to routes with all the right turns. Do better.
- The comms interruptions. DON'T get off track if you're also trying to communicate with your comm system. You'll be cut off every few seconds to be informed the route is recalculating and to make a u-turn. It's infuriating. Have to disconnect the bluetooth to comms on group rides.

Great Upgrade
I had to upgrade from a 595 due to a programming glitch. I have really impressed with the response and features contained in this model. easy to install and update,
