Barefoot Dreams Poncho
I am a Barefoot Dreams fan &!ordered one for my best friend as a gift. So heavy & extremely disappointing. It weighed a ton& friend couldn’t wear it, so I thought I would keep it. Not possible, so heavy & covered my.hands. Had to return it, but wish I would have weighed it. Weighs a ton. Not like other Barefoot Dreams purchases. Will continue but from them, but never a poncho. I am 5’7.

overwhelming in a bad way
HEAVY and huge for my taste. I am a small lady with tight budget and this poncho is enroute BACK to QVC. I give up on BD; the sleeves on ALLLL cardi's I have tried are NOT acceptable; I thought this Poncho might solve this layering problem. I felt as if I was under a military tent struggling to get out.
Enough said. oh yeah extremely overpriced.

Very Oversized
I kept this because I didn’t want to pay for return shipping. It is very “lofty” and stretches out at the neckline which then drops off the shoulder. Could almost use as a blanket!

Not Impressed
I sent this back as I was not impressed with the item when it arrived. When you turn it to use the buttons it becomes short and looks out of proportion. I feel it is way over priced for what it is.

So cozy
I've recently found myself shifting from coats to more capes, ruanas, and ponchos. They're just so easy on and off and are a better fit in the car. I've purchased several this year but this is the one I reach for most often. I have others that have a more attractive pattern or are dressier or are desirable because they don't have to go over the head, but this one is my go-to. It's softer and a great weight that's plenty warm enough for my needs since I don't live up north. My only wish is that it opened in the front so I didn't have to put it over my head. The presentation showed you could unbutton it and turn it around so that part is in the front. I tried it but found it was too short in the back for my liking when worn that way. Still, it's a winner for me because of the softness, the heavier weight, and the great mulberry color.

Warm and cuddly
So far this is warm, cuddly, and versatile. I love keeing it unbuttoned and sweep it across the opposite shoulder. Now, i just need to test how it gets thru a washing.

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE
I first purchased the cream poncho and discovered that for me it was much better than a coat. I am hot natured and live in Alabama. This poncho is perfect to wear in the car and then go into the grocery store. I am just comfortable and not too hot even when it is cold. I used to burn up in a coat. I then purchased the eucalypts and the mulberry. I love having a variety to wear. They were expensive but it is worth it to be comfortable when I get in a cold car. It is like wearing a blanket!!

Clint would have been happy
Although this garment is of the same soft and beautiful fabric that Barefoot Dreams is famous for and is delightfully cozy and warm, the poncho styling isn't very flattering. I don't much need to be a fashionista, especially when trying to keep warm, but when my husband began whistling the theme from The Good, Bad and Ugly (Spaghetti western from late 60's starring Clint Eastwood), and offering to light me a stogie, I knew it had to go back.
