WEN by Chaz Dean Sweet Almond Mint & Tea Tree Duo
I could never get my hair to grow past my shoulders. After using ONLY Wen products for the last three months my hair is finally past my shoulders now. Thanks Chaz!!!
I really like this conditioning shampoo. My hair was breaking off from too much flat ironing. Now I don't have clumps of hair falling out in the shower. My hair is soft, shinny, and not greasy. I also leave a small amount in my hair after washing. It is kind of expensive, but you don't have to use shampoo and conditioner, so it ends up being about the same cost to me. Thanks to QVC for offering this affordable deal!
Love Tea Tree
Surprised at some of these reviews. I agree with Lisa R. Tea Tree is amazing! I use it combined with any of my other WEN formulas. But must have Tea Tree in the mix. Could you please sell these separately. I use a lot more Tea Tree than Sweet Almond Mint. Why would you sell two together like this unless you were pushing one for some reason? Please sell Tea Tree by itself. Thanks. Love you Chaz.
WAS IN LOVE WITH WEN....TIL MY HAIR FELL OUT!!
i had been using wen for about two months or more and i just loved it. i loved the way my hair felt and looked. i thought it was great. then i started noticing that every time i cleansed my hair it was starting to come out. not just a few little strands but probably 20 or 30 full length stands at a time!! it seemed to be coming out worse every day i used it. so i read a lot of the reviews and saw where there have been several other ladies that this has happened to. my granddaughter has been using wen for over six months and has no problem with it. it may be that it just does this on certain types of hair. mine is thin and oily. as much as i loved it i quit using it and now when i shower i have seen hardly no hair at all. so that tells me it had to be the wen. so sad that i couldn't continue to use it. i love ya chaz but i think you need to take a good look at your formulas and see why this is happening on some hair types.
first time WEN user
I have seen so many QVC shows and info commercials on WEN..I thought I would give it a try..I knew it would take me awhile to get used to no lather..BUT it didn't bother me at all.I love the smell and I love the product..My hair was getting so dry, but since ive been using the product, it feels better..I guess you could say, IM A WEN GIRL...
Don't waste your money:(
I order WEN last Dec. Apple Fall love the scent to the product. My thing every time I will use wen a lot of hair will fall out clump of hair. At first I thought maybe I have to use it for a while to get my hair and scalp use to. I finish the 32 oz bottle. I decided to order more this time tea tree and sweet almond 16oz I have the same problem I will definitely stop using WEN. I guess it's not like its describe for all hair types cuz for sure it's not for me. I'm also not the only person with this issue. Tea tree has an awful scent:(
I gave this to my sister and to her 15 year old daughter, both have dark long thick hair. They have tried a lot of shampoos and conditioners out there, and always ends up having " dry, course, and frizzy" hair. I gave this to them as a gift, and to make the long story short....I got a text from both of them, saying that the "WEN" product I gave them DELIVERED IT'S PROMISE TO GREAT TEXTURE to their hair.
I had been using the sweet almond mint for years and it's been great on my curly hair. But wanted to try the Tea Tree and I must say it's awesome!! It actually leaves it softer than the Sweet Almond Mint, I also love the tingly feeling it gives the scalp to 'revive' it a little. Will continue to use both. Thank you Chaz!!!
Tea Tree Is Horrible!
The Tea Tree made my hair very coarse, frizzy. A lot of my hair broke off, and the Tea Tree totally undid the great results I had gotten from using the Sweey Almond. I recommend the Sweet Almond and the Pomegranate, would give them 5 stars.
For anyone who's used this product and did not love it, you have to understand that it's not nor has it ever been dubbed a "Miracle Product". This is a cleansing conditioner that you have to use EXACTLY as instructed and you have to use it consistently to get any results. I've tried this product several times and the first 2 times I did not feel it had any beneficial results. However, my hair was colored, relaxed and over processed so naturally, it did not work well. I cut all of my hair off and now I am chemical/color free and tried this product a third time and let me tell you from the standpoint of a woman who nothing worked on my thick, unruly, frizzy, damaged, dry like straw hair, this product works.
As an African American women, I did not do much to my hair because it was relaxed and too much to handle daily with curling or flat ironing. I didn't think my hair was beautiful until I tried WEN again on my natural hair. My hair is super soft, frizz free, moisturized and beautiful. You have to give this product a chance to work it's magic on your hair. One or two uses is probably not going to show you any difference. You have to be consistent and patient. The more you use this product, the better the results. Stop looking for something to transform you hair overnight or even after a few times. You probably don't know how damaged your hair is from all of the styling and products that are not good for it. If you are a product junkie, you may want to clarify before but on a regular basis, this product does work with continued use.
The sweet almond mint is OK. It does make my hair soft, just not sure it's cleaning as well as my other sulfate-free shampoo. The tea tree scent is horrendous, and somehow my hair feels a little drier after using that for a week than the other scent. Probably won't buy again.
wen user for years
Ive been using wen for years and have been happy. Until I tried the tea tree. It's horrible. My hair was stiff and dull. Do not order it!
