WEN by Chaz Dean Sweet Almond Mint & Tea Tree Duo
Wen is a fabulous conditioning hair care product. I have super frizzy hair that is long and straight. At 58 I need Wen to calm down my old hair and make is smooth and shiny. I cannot use it on my bangs or they look greasy so I use it everywhere else and put a squirt of something else on my bangs. Tea Tree and Almond Mint seem to work best with my body chemistry.
Love my Conditioning Cleaners!!
Have been a “Conditioning Cleaner” girl for over 2 years, shampoo & lather free has whoop my curly unruly frizzy color treated hair into shape. Wen is one of the better products out there when talking about Conditioning Cleaners and with any hair product you need to find the one that works you. I have tried all the Wen products alone and combinations and found the perfect formulation for my hair type. I use equal parts of the Bamboo, Tea Tree and Sweet Almond. I went from having to use mouse, glaze, curling/frizz oils, hairspray to style … to using NOTHING!!! I just cleanse, 1/2 pump of the Bamboo in wet hair as leave in, then air or blowing dry. No frizz and curls are well defined, it’s like someone’s else’s hair!!
Will try another different one
I loved that the Almond Mint left my hair very soft.
I did not like that fact that my hair is very fluffy and fly away and it did not compose itself at all.
My hair got straighter and lost some curls.
I have to use Dove conditioner so that my curls can appear again.
So I decided to start using Wen whenever my hair needs a little boost for my dry hair.
I had already tried the wen when it came out on TV some time back.
The same results, so I thought that maybe I needed to try it again and maybe it would work for my hair.
I got the same results. Now that I know that there are different kinds, I am going to try another one hoping that it will work for my hair.
I just do not understand why my hair does not look like the ladies hair on TV.
I believe that the hair is being prepped before going on TV and that is why they ladies hair look very beautiful.
Next Wen that I will be trying in the future will be for curly hair.
I guess that my hair is not universal as Chaz Dean said that it could be used for any hair style.
Products works as Promised!
The idea of a non-traditional cleanser made me a little skeptical but curious. What got my interest most in this product was the idea of doing something good for my hair. I always struggled with dry hair but made excuses for it not realizing it could be my shampoo. I finally gave WEN a try and was amazed at the difference in the soft and healthy feel my hair took on. I followed the directions as stated and couldn't be happier. My hair stylist who had never said anything about my hair in the past, one day mentioned how hydrated my hair was. I smiled from ear to ear. I am a believer in this product and will continue to use it.......
Love WEN, could not stand this scent.
WEN shampoo is wonderful for my long hair. However, I had to return this duo because the tea tree smells so bad. I am not hard to please but the tea tree smells like Vicks Vapo-Rub. I made other people smell my hair and they agreed. The smell of the product outweighed its benefits for me. Please bring back the coconut mango.
I used to use the sweet almond mint years ago and loved the effects until my hair began to feel dry. Then noticed large amounts of hair falling out both in the shower and when drying. I stopped and decided to try the tea tree for thinning hair, giving Wen a second chance. What a mistake!! TONS of hair fell out!!! No more, back they go!!
I have very oily hair do you think wen will take that away? It's very upsetting and drives me crazy.
I am not happy with WEN. Its 'OK' but I will not purchase it again. Not for the price. There are plenty of other products out there that are the same or even better. I thought I would give it a try and I am glad I did but I will not be purchasing it again. Yes, my hair does feel great but I think I am an old-fashioned girl and like the lather of shampoo.
I took the leap, and have been using Wen for a little over 2 weeks and I have to say my hair is loving it! It feels moisturized and healthy. I am 46 years old and have naturally curly hair. I normally won't wear it curly because it's dry and a little unruly, but with Wen it looks so much better and I have worn it curly several times. I'm convinced!
Does what it claims!
I had tried Wen at least 5 years ago and thought, "I don't see what all the fuss is about," so I stopped using it once the bottle was empty. Fast forward a couple of years later and my hair has undergone some kind of change it went from straight (all my life) shiny and soft to CURLY and dry! I know, right, Weird! After struggling the past two years trying to tame the beast I bit the bullet and tried Wen again. After two weeks I AM A BELIEVER! Followed the directions exactly and after the first wash my hair was much, much more manageable, soft and touchable! Thanks QVC and Chaz, I'm loving my hair again!
Thank Goodness for QVC & WEN!
I have shopped eBay, amazon, etc. and QVC has them all beat on price and convenience. With the split payments - it makes shopping an absolute pleasure.
About the product - I HIGHLY recommend WEN! I have long straight golden blonde hair (yes - color treated) to my waist and this is truly the only product that makes my hair manageable, glisten, soft with no frizzy. It is worth every penny and now QVC makes it even easier to purchase. THANK YOU, QVC!
Didn't Work for me with my fine straight hair
My hair felt so soft and silky and was bouncy; however, it became too soft and unmanageable even with the styling mist/creme. I' m giving it away to others who may benefit from the slipery softening affect.
