Susan Graver Chelsea Stretch Straight Leg Reg Pants with Button Detail
Nice pants - Horrible hem job
I have four Susan Graver Chelsea Stretch pants, two full length and two capris length. I had written earlier reviews raving about the capris. HOWEVER, that was before I washed them. In each and every pair, the hem came undone. Not just one pair, ALL FOUR PAIR! What? These are not inexpensive pants. Should have much better quality in construction. Just glad I know how to sew or it would cost me even more to send to seamstress.
This pant is very comfortable . Great for the holidays, especially when you are
working in the kitchen but you still want to look nice.
SIZING OFF, LENGTH WAY WAY TOO LONG
Got these in my normal size of Large. Oh my... they are HUGE, and I am 5' 6", and these would maybe be a perfect length for someone 6 foot tall. I gave a 2 stars only because I did like the pant / style

Love the material. These pants are very comfortable. However, I found them very hard to close at the waist with those 2 hook and eye type things. I much prefer a button closure on pants. Also for whatever reason the pockets seemed to gap and I didn't care for those little tabs across the pockets. The pants were the right size. They fit find in legs, hips, seat etc. Just didn't like how there was gapping at the pockets.
I got these when they were on LTS - ordered black in size XL & 1X as I never know with SG sizing. I do like her Chelsea knit fabric as opposed to that Lustra knit which is to thin. The XL was a tad taut across the hip and the 1X just draped better - the front/back rises in both were fine for me. I'm 5'7" tall and normally like a 29-inch inseam but this will do with a small heel on my pant shoes. Definitely wouldn't want it any longer! Wish I'd been able to get these in the navy color.
I have these slacks in black. Ordered same size in Navy: too small, had to return. Why can't Susan Graver deliver consistent sizing in her pieces?
Here's a thought: let her pay the return charges. It isn't customers' fault that her merchandise is sloppy.
Love these pants
I received these pants last week and wore them to work this past weekend. Very comfortable, wash very well. I am a 2x girl and these are super comfortable and smart looking for the professional. Ladies do not hesitate to order these pants, they are wonderful!
NICE BUT TOO LONG
I AM 5'7 AND USUALLY ORDER REGULAR LENTH WHICH I DID BUT THESE PANTS ARE WAY LONGER THAN I USUALLY GET.
BUT THATS OK I DO LIKE THE WAY SHE DOES PANTS. THEY LAY VERY WELL
SO JUST A SUGGESTION SUSAN JUST SNIP A LITTLE OFF NEXT TIME.
Great Fit-Too Long Ditto!!
Just a heads up, if you are 5'4" like me...these pants will require hemming!!!
Sending them back because I don't want to have to pay the "extra cost" for a seamstress to hem these.
Otherwise, nice fabric and style. Abilitity to throw them in the washer and dryer is a plus as well.
Wish Susan and/or the buyer would offer a choice in this same pant but only in PETITE.
I have to wear black for work and it gets difficult to find that perfect pair of pants time and time again. I believe these will do the trick! Nice cut through the butt and legs. NIce that they are machine wash and will save me the dry cleaning bills. My only issue - hence the 4 stars and not 5 - is that the waist is soooo high! LIke 2 inches above my belly button! How about a lower rise?
So Comfortable and Stylish
I own a number of styles of Susan Graver pants, and have read my share of negative reviews on them; however, I have to disagree. These are lovely. They are well made, the fabric is very comfortable and they look fabulous. Susan's pants are my new favorites. I have never had pants fit me so beautifully.
They look expensive, yet feel as comfortable as my sweats. But the best is they are wash and tumble dry!
Thank you, Susan for giving real women, real options.
I have these on, even as I write this review. Wore to church this morning. They are very dressy. I usually wear an 8 in QVC pants, but got these in a 6 by the measurements listed and they could not be more perfect. I'm only 5'4 so I had to hem them. I need a 30' inseam to be perfect.
Anyway, as soon as I tried these on, I went back and got the brown. Am waiting for them to arrive and see if the fit is as perfect.
I have small hips and most pants are too baggy in the back, but Susan has that down pat.
