Sleep Number Queen Size Premium Adjustable Bed Set
Bed is Pump Dependent
I love hearing the SN people refer to how long their mattresses last. But keep in mind while your MATRESS might last, your pump may go. If your pump breaks while under well written warranty (guess how!), you may get next available service ten days later. The pump is shipped from headquarters, not from your nearest large ciy....wait, wait, wait. Meanwhile, your bed will not move. As well, you may get an email stating how you saved around $800 for your new pump and technicians to service your bed. What? The bed was less than two weeks old!
Give me a regular and dependable mattress any day! My experience is nothing short of a horror as I bought this bed speifically for upcoming back surgery! This just seems like people forget how vulnerable they really are to moving parts and may be at the mercy of very slow service. And now, another problem has reared its ugly head with the new pump!
Not for me
I ordered this bed and was very disappointed. I know a lot of people love the sleep number bed, but it was not for me. Did the 100 day trial and returned. I could never make the bed comfortable.
THIS BED SAVED MY SANITY!!
The lack of sleep started getting to me. I tried everything!! Even bought one of those other top of the line beds that start with a T and sent it back. This was my last resort. All I can say is WOW!!! I LOVE THIS BED! Problem is now I don't want to go anywhere because I would miss my bed too much lol. If your not sleeping and on the fence I would jump at this free shipping and easy pay. LOVE LOVE LOVE my sleep number bed.
LOVE the adjustable bed platform!
I purchased this bed when it was the Today's Special Value at the end of April. I called the Sleep Number customer service dept., and the rep said that this was a cross between their I 8 and the I10, which is the comparable versions that they sell in the stores. A couple days later I went in to the local Sleep Number store to check them out. I saved about $600. The sales person there suggested I should buy from them because I would be helping the local economy, and that they would include assembly. However, I don't think their assembly is free....
This bed was delivered a week earlier than estimated. Luckily the UPS person figured out a way to access my garage, otherwise I would have had 5 large "Sleep Number" boxes stacked up outside my house most of the day..
I printed out the assembly instructions located on the product page, as the box that stated it contained the assembly instructions, actually did NOT. I didn't find the instructions until I had already assembled the adjustable base, and started assembling the mattress. The instructions that came in the boxes are much easier to read (the font is bigger, and bolder) It took about 1 1/2 hours to assemble, and that was with one person reading the instructions aloud, and me assembling it. I would recommend using the 4 inch legs if you are planning on using the casters, using the 7 inch legs with the casters would make the mattress would be too high because padding on this mattress is very thick.
Watching tv or reading is Soooooo comfortable with my feet and head raised. The adjustable base is so worth the added expense! Love the mattress too.
Oh yeah, my sleep number is 50 :-)
