Rogue Wallet Passport and Credit Card RFID Protector Sleeves
A MUST HAVE !
I got these because my Daughter-In-Law had her bank card scanned, she went to a concert, didn't want to carry her purse, put her bank card in her front pocket of her pants. A few days her bank called her, told her some person used her card for tickets to Brazil, and to buy tickets to the Futball championship game there. SO I thought, what a wonderful necessity . Every person should owen them. Yes they Are thin, But hope we never find out if they don,t work, but hope they DO.
For those who understand the technology
These do work.
I have one credit card w/the chip so the others I gave to those who have credit cards w/the chips.
My recommend is this: DO the research and understand the goal. Not all credit cards have the chip. The one I use does and the sleeve continues to hold together just fine…
Research research research and don't fall for some of the reviews that clearly don't understand which credit cards the sleeves are for.
SAVE YOUR MONEY!
These may serve the purpose they advertise, but they are poor quality made of paper that comes apart easily. My cards fell out of them and it was a fumble to find a card - overall they offered little to no protection because they fell off the cards. Save your money on this.
I love knowing these Sleeves protect our cards.
I just wish you had different color sleeves in one pack , that way I would know
what credit card was in each color with out haveing to take eace one out.
I purchased these sleeves over a year ago and they work great. My husband tried them out at his place of work where he has to use an security ID card to get in, and he said the card could not be read while in the sleeve. When he took the ID card out of the sleeve it was able to be read.
I would not be without these. I have given them to my son and his wife and also to a dear friend of mine and her husband. I have recommended them to others and feel we should all take advantage of them. They aren't just an annoying sleeve as some may have said. They DO WORK! I'm glad to have them.
i don't even know if these things are real. It's just a small, thin envelope. I don't think I can give them as a gift, as I intended to do. Waste of money, too much money for it and who knows if it even protects anything. Don't buy.
It's just flimsy printed paper!
I was expecting a sturdy protector with a nice look and feel, but for the price I'm disappointed . Value of this item in my opinion is $10.00. Perhaps good for spare protection, but i bought as a gift and I'm embarrassed to gift this. Will return. I love qvc, and it's rare that I'm ever unhappy with items. Sad day. ;)
We have had these sleeves since they were first offered on Q and really like them. We use one of our cards almost every day and have no trouble getting it out of the sleeve. Yes, it does take a little time getting the right card but it is worth it to have my cards secure.
I'm still using the first set we got. Thinking about ordering another set just in case they are not offered much longer. I thought about getting my husband the wallet with the built-in protectors. I do not use a wallet or I would get the ladies wallet for myself.
The new necessity
I purchased two sets- one a few years ago then just got a second set recently- this is a must have- I put every kind of card that could have my personal info into these sleeves. I think they are sadly- the new necessity. They would be a great gift for anyone who is out and about at airports, subways, malls- even local shopping . No 100% guarantee but worth the investment. Watch the presentation video on QVC where these sleeves defy the skimming device.
Just would like to say, I guess they work. How do we know? It would have been
nice to have each ofl the small covers to be a different color. I wrote on each cover
to ID the card. I do agree, the card is hard to pull out sometimes. Even if they do
come unglued, they are still useable.
I have had mine several years.
Great Quick Fix
These are a great alternative to assure your safety to use with credit cards in a wallet that you really like and just can't part with. Love the new patterns that are offered too.
Hard to Access
I wanted to comment on the selection now that I have them. Another reviewer commented that they now have to figure out which card is in which sleeve. I agree. I am relatively methodical when I put my cards back into my wallet, but in a rushed situation at the store, sometimes they land in another slot. Multiple different patterns in the purchase package would be helpful or add a color identifier at the top to help identify the cards. Also, I had to put a tab at the top of the sleeve (homemade out of tape) to get the sleeve in and out of my wallet. Once the credit card is in the sleeve in the wallet slot, it is very difficult to pull out quickly. A built in "tab" would also make this much more useful.
My husband wasn't able to use the sleeve in his wallet because the wallet slots could only accomodate the credit card but not the additional width of the sleeve (and he is the one I am worried about protecting because he travels quite a bit .... ).
I rated this a "3" because of some of the above issues but am also assuming that RFID does what it is supposed to do.
