Walnut or Cherry? Makeup Armoire
Ever since I saw this makeup Armoire on a Bare Minerals special, I have wanted to get this organizer! I have a walnut, antique dressing table, so I purchased the walnut case. I'm pretty sure I was sent the cherry case; the reddish finish matches some of my cherry furniture
The first thing I noticed when I opened the top and doors was the poor quality and craftsmanship of the white, vinyl lining. It was not cut and glued properly, The vinyl is uneven through out the chest, Then there is that silly white vinyl covered bar on the bottom back. First I thought it was more cardboard to be removed since it was not glued in place, but it can not be removed! It only slides to the side, taking up valuable space (3/4 " wide & 1 inch deep) needed for eye brushes and liners and mascara! The listed photos do not show the 2 wood dividers, that create 3 spaces, (they are the same height as the front edge). With only a depth of ONE inch, larger face brushes won't fit. I then thought the bar may act as a "Door Stop", but the stiles on each end of this space are quite sufficient. Are the WALNUT cases the only ones that have been poorly assembled? Of all of the reviews I've read thus far, it does seem the Walnut cases are the only ones effected. I love the armoire and have been wanting and looking for this for quite some time. With S/H, the costs is $100.00. I really expected the quality and appearance to be much better than what I received. So disappointing...
If I were designing this case, I'd add a larger brush holder for those fluffy, favorite face and powder brushes, plus an elastic banded strip to hold double ended brushes! Next, I'd vary the width of the spaces in the bottom to fit a wider variety of compacts, &/or add adjustable dividers instead of fixed! Plus some type of lighting, maybe LED strips, would be wonderful!

I like this box, looks nice enough to leave out and holds lots and lots of makeup! Makes my life a little easier.

LOVE IT! I own a Lori Greiner Jewelry Box for my silver jewelry so I was not disappointed with this Cosmetic Organizer! It's just as beautiful as her Jewelry Box! Now to just get my junk off my dresser and into this thing! ; )

Love, love, love this cosmetic cabinet! I am the true beauty product junkie and it holds everything! Lori, you did well on this one and I bought it in white and it looks so pretty in my bathroom. I am so glad I bought this!

WALNUT COSMETIC BOX
This piece is heavy. I think because it is heavy and you may need to sit it out of the way and pick it up to use it, I think there should be handles on the side to enable you to lift it to your destination to put on makeup. Mine has shiny and matte places like the finish didn't get applied properly on the lid. Then, the lining, this white vinyl, has corners that kind of hang up when the drawers close because it isn't attached good. Also, it does not hold Mally's 3 compact pieces. I have several Mally kits that include the 3 compacts in one and this piece is just a little short to put them in the long parts, so I could not use it for those. So, I kept it because I didn't want to repack it. I added handles to the sides. I reglued the vinyl down so it doesn't hang up. I still have my longer items in a drawer, so it did not solve all of my problems. I wish Mally would design one for us. Then I would switch. Until then, this will have to do.

LOVE IT!
Got this in white last week,filled it and have been using it ever since. Love how it holds things organized and hidden when closed! I have used your jewelery case as well for many years and love it. One suggestion on the makeup box would be on the short drawers. Keep as is on one side,but on the other combine the two into one taller drawer for things that do not fit into the shorter drawers. Also on the very bottom where you have separators ,,,it would be great if they were removable. Otherwise, love it! Thank-you!

GORGEOUS!
Just received the cosmetic organizer, and WOW, everything I anticipated, plus that "new, real-wood smell" is just a bonus!! It keeps my products conveniently in reach when I need them, and beautifully hidden when I don't. The interior wipes clean easily and the Walnut wooden exterior continues to shine. GORGEOUS & FUNCTIONAL...strongly considering ordering a second one! I can't be the ONLY one who can fill 2, can I?? : )

Beautiful, great idea, but poorly constructed.
I ordered this Cosmetic Box in Walnut. It is more of a red tint, closer to cherry. The box is HUGE and the outside is made of real wood, looks beautiful and well constructed. However, the inside is another story. Upon opening the doors for the first time, the lining was badly peeling away from the interior walls. Therefore, I immediately boxed it back up and returned it. For the purchase price, there was no way I was keeping it with the obvious lack of construction and materials used.
I also ordered the Standing Jewelry Mirror from the same line. Thank goodness it was on waitlist, because I was able to cancel it before getting it home and finding out that it may also be poorly constructed.

This holds so much.. I couldn ot believe I had so much make up.. its that ole saying you won't use it unless you see it... Beautiful box.. looks great in my bathroom

Worth Every Penny
I had been looking for something to store my makeup in, and this is better then I ever thought I would find. It looks great, and it holds all of my makeup with room to spare. My vanity area is neat again. This cosmetic box is sturdy, and worth every penny I spent!

Wonderful Organization
I have had this for a couple of years and it is just perfect! When you open the swing out doors you can see almost every piece of jewelry you own - it's wonderful! My chains are never tangled, my rings are no longer lying on my dresser, etc., etc. I own it in the cherry which is very pretty and it sits on my dresser so nicely. Great Purchase!
