Judith Ripka Sterling/14K Gold Clad Braided Double Row Bracelet
Super easy clasp!
I received the bracelet. Love the bracelet. Super easy clasp! After having read the review while waiting to receive the bracelet I began concerned about the clasp. I received the bracelet in the mail yesterday. I couldn't wait to open it so I got the scissors out in the garage and opened it up right away. Stood there and put the bracelet on. Easy as pie! Was so relieved that to my standards this clasp is easy to use. Like I said easy as pie. All of my fine jewelry closures work exactly the same way.
Received as gift, but clasp was awful and "leatherette" looked like the vinyl it is.
Many reviewers complained of the clasp. Watched the video a couple of times, and saw that not once did they show how to clasp the bracelet. Guess that tells us something.
Not wearer friendly
I purchased this bracelet for my granddaughter for Xmas. Loved it for her the minute I opened the box, however we spent the next 10 minutes trying to get the clasp to work. Because of its location, its almost impossible to properly fasten it. Once we thought we had it securely on, it would fall off. Should have returned it, but waited too late. Beautiful but not functional.
Such a beautiful item, is a little big so order your regular bracelet size. Rating of 5 stars
This is a comfortable and trendy bracelet. I just love it.
Very unique look
I like Judith's designs, and although many too pricey, I love this piece. It fit well and matches my other rose gold pieces that I've ordered from QVC.
Love this item. This is definitely for keeps. Ordered the rose gold.
Too expensive for vinyl. It looks fake. The clasp is hard to work. Poor design. I pinched the skin on my wrist the first time I tried to put it on. Going back.
Swing & A Miss...
This bracelet had potential but the faux leather was an issue for me from the beginning. But my step-daughter called and wanted one for her birthday. When I got it, I was impressed with the gold clad color and the style but I thought the diamonique stones were way too big. Oh well. I wrapped it up and presented the gift. She loved it. She likes bling, liked the style but I had to show her many times how to use the clasp. She wore it twice and decided the clasp is just too difficult for her to operate (at least she's pretty). I considered keeping it for myself but I am just not a fan of the faux leather.
I love this so much! It was a splurge when i got it, with the matching neclace, and i wear them all the time. Its at a great pruce now! It dresses up your jeans perfectly.
Clasp needs re-engineered
I really wanted to love these bracelet's. (Ordered 2 colors) however, the clasp has too much of an issue for the risk of losing it. I hope Judy comes back with a better clasp to fix this problem. Since both bracelets did the same thing, I knew it was an engineering issue and not just a bad piece that slipped through quality assurance. Unfortunately, it went back to the post office the same day I received it.
Pretty Bracelet Another Loss
I did love the bracelet when I first got it. Did read one or two reviews about clasp but went for it anyway. The clasp broke and bent shortly after the 30days. Just my luck. Now I have a bag of broken jewelry that I don't know if it's fixable. I have over $500 worth of broken jewelry and while that 30 day return policy is great - it stinks for the pieces that break. For that reason I really do not recommend, even if you don't wear it often. I got mine in Spring and I don't wear much black jewelry in summer. That to me is like a fall/winter piece.
