Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Gardening Tool I used this mainly during the spring prep and planting. It's wonderful for when you don't feel like all that squatting. Once our garden got going and I loosened up from all the gardening stuff, I didn't need as much. Excellent tool for early spring or anytime. My go to weeding tool. Very simple design and user friendly. Works best on moist soil.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from How did I live without this? This is the best weeding tool I have owned! (And I own several types..) It removes big sticker bushes, crabgrass, tough long taproot weeds, you name it. I have found things go much easier if you water the area the night before. Once you get the hang of gripping the base of the weed properly this tool is fantastic. Highly recommend!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Handle broke This weirder was working beautifully for the first day of use..... the the long wooden handle broke in half! I am so sad because it is actually a good tool. At the break point, the wood looks very pourous and dry - maybe it was not a good batch?

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Must Have Truly a must have tool. I never enjoyed working in the yard until I discovered this gem. Lost my original one in a move so just replaced it. Those who don't have one are missing out.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from NO More Dandelions Purchased in the spring when ground was too wet. Using now. Just like advertized. Pulls out down to the root. Practically no effort. Center on leaves, push down, rock back & Boom! Pulls out whole dandelion. Where was this when I used to spend hours on my knees with that screwdriver like thingies that only worked sometimes. Basic design. It really works!!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from LOVE LOVE LOVE!!! I have a spine injury so bending over is kinda painful at times. This was my answer. I was skeptic over the price but I would gladly pay it again now!! Its also lightweight so when you stab the crab grass or weed of your choice, just grab it, toss it in a bucket and move to the next. a few complained that you have to hand pull the weed out of the grabber but that doesn't bother me in the slightest since its so light weight and it also allows me to check to make sure I got ALL the roots. Best done after a light rain but works just as well in dry ground too. Just super easy after a rain.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Just didn't work If the soil was too moist it wouldn't grab the weed and if it was too dry it wouldn't go down far enough. I never once got a whole root of a dandelion out. When the soil was moist it might grab part of the weed but it got completely full of goopy soil so I had to scrape it out after every try. I'm happy for the others who have positive reviews, it just didn't work for me. Sorry Grampa..

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Not quite as expected Pulled the weeds easily when soil was wet, but didn't release them. You still have to pull the weeds out of the tool. Didn't work quite as well as expected.
