The book is full of great pictures and great recipes. The first thing I made was the apple pie . I work with 2 guys half my age and kept telling them how much apple pie and cheese works. They now agree !!

Tried the peanut butter cookies and meatloaf. Both were great. Wonderful read. Good to see good old-fashioned food and great reminder that some people still believe in family.
Looking forward to trying many more (my pages are marked!!!)

I absolutely love Nancy Fuller, and was anxiously waiting for her to do a cookbook. Needless to say, it was well worth the wait! Her recipes are old fashion comfort foods to company's coming specials. The photos & personal stories that intersperse the recipes is well worth the price of this book alone! I hope this will be the first of many cookbooks, Nancy!!!

This is an excellent book. It bring the love of Home, Food, Family and Friends together all in one book. I'm happy to add this lovely book to my cookbook collection. It makes a wonderful holiday gift anyone would cherish. The recipes are easy to follow, it uses ingredients that are in season, and the stories are an added plus. It makes me go back to my younger days and to life fulled with the comforts of nature.

I have been reading over the recipes in this book, and they really sound good, and I am looking forward to trying them. I only gave it four stars because of the organization. The recipes are grouped in a very unusual way,. which makes it somewhat difficult to find things. However, the book itself is beautiful, and the pictures are very appealing.

I love Nancy Fuller and her show. So many times I go to get a recipe of hers from the Food Network website. I have loved many of them. That being said, this cookbook is not what I had expected. The recipes are not indicative of what I see on her show. I will use very little of them but I guess I'll keep it for the pictures and the few recipes I will use. I hope in the future she will include the thing she cooks on TV rather than the more "catering" type things in this book. I was hoping for a more down home cookbook. So I am disappointed.

Quite honestly I don't know why I ordered this cookbook but thought some of her recipes would be of interest. What I found was high quality printing, so-so pictures and most recipes were over the top, NOT down home, every day type of cooking. Frankly, I find Nancy Fuller's over the top sappiness and juvenile behavior nauseating on television and I only watch episodes with recipes that "might" interest me with the hopefulness of gleaning some expertise in the kitchen, but the silliness on screen is far too much. I am greatly disappointed in this book and I believe that the amount of money that went into the glitz of it's processing far outweigh the content. I would send this back, but I would have to pay postage and be left with nothing, So this book is on the back shelf in a cabinet with no desire to open it again. Such a shame that she thinks that overacting is a plus. And why do I need rules of etiquette in the back of a cookbook as if she's speaking to a 10 year old. Also I would not even think of giving this to a friend, but the selection below doesn't allow for making it a non-gift.

Not a good value for me...recipes for the most part are not something I would use.

I love watching Nancy Fuller on the cooking channel. She is so down to earth and her recipes are always so non-cook friendly. When I saw her on David's show I knew I had to order the cookbook and I'm so glad I did. I love reading all about Nancy and her family. The recipes are fantastic. There are several listed that I want to try very soon. Even my son and daughter-in-law were reading it last night and they don't cook. All I can say is yummy, yummy, yummy in my tummy, tummy, tummy!!! Thank you Nancy and QVC.

Nancy, I love your Farmhouse Rules show on food network. I write so many of your recipes down during it. I was excited knowing your cookbook was coming. I'm sorry, but I was so disappointed in your book. It's just not what I expected. I was hoping for more of a variety. Hoping for a new one soon. I'll continue to get your recipes from Food Network. Your still the best.

Not my cup of tea. Nice book, but the recipes were not for me.

I just received Nancy's cookbook. The colored pictures of the farm and her family were beautiful. I can't say the same for the pictures of the finished recipe. I know the food featured was better than it looked in the picture. Not professionally styled for a photo shoot. Most of it looked dried out and over cooked, something I would throw out. The recipes are easy to read, so I will concentrate on the recipe and ignore the pictures. .
