Barre3 28Day Challenge Fitness Program w/5 DVDs & Stability Ball
I am 54, trying to get back into shape and these videos are for everyone. A mix of pilates, yoga and ballet. Easy on the joints and goes at a comfortable pace. The instructor will explain the form to make it doable for beginners, moderate and advanced students.

I have the Fluidity bar with DVDs( which I love) but was getting bored with them so I purchased these DVDs and LOVE them!! Even though they are low impact you get such a good workout. I cant say enough about them. Your legs will shake and quake but such a good feeling!! What I love most is when you work a muscle you will then stretch the muscle so you don't wake up the next morning feeling like you've been hit by a truck.
A Good Program for Me
I have only watched two of the DVDs so far. They seem just right for me.
If you want to bounce up and down and sweat, this isn't for you. If you want to stretch and move your body in ways you usually don't, this is for you.
I want more!
I love these DVDs and this system! I own at least 100 exercise videos in many different genres and formats and these are my favorite ones. All five are so easy to follow and the moves are simple, yet kick your butt! It is amazing that a 30 minute video with no jumping or high impact exercises can make you sweat like these do. All the moves/postures are very body friendly and can easily be modified if you have any issues with your back, knees, ankles, shins etc. Keep making more Sadie!

As the last review stated this was and is a bit boring for me although I think I really like it. The first 2 videos were so boring I thought I would return it. By the time I got through all of them I find it to be relaxing yet torture at the same time. It's hard to explain. I have worked out for years and in the last couple months was use to doing kickboxing for an hour at the gym. My testosterone was low and I quit going. I had no energy. So, as I have started to get back into working out with this set I have found myself to be either way out of shape or these are just hard. The shaking is almost unbearable. I find I can't walk right after working out due to still shaking. Although I like yoga, I don't enjoy the yoga moves that are incorporated into these. I was hoping for more ballet, dancy type moves. Some are just plain squats and arm weights. So, there is no way to get away from them I guess but over all this is a nice program and it really can go to anyones level. The book that came with it was very nice and something I can actually do.
This might be good for someone who has not been working out. I found it very boring.
These DVDs provide great instruction and provide alternate moves for those with back and knee issues. Very graceful and yet challenging. After each workout I feel my spine is straighter and I feel more balanced. I hope there will be more DVDs from them in the future!
Great Set and For Advanced Exercisers Too
As a female runner and heavy weight lifter in my 30's I bought this set thinking I could use it to increase my flexibility without working too hard. This set has exceeded my expectations. I use it several times a week in addition to my regular training routine and my performance and recovery time in my other activities has increased ten fold. These workouts can be made as hard as needed by going deeper in the movements and/or using 3-5 lbs dumbbells (instead of the 1-2 lbs the instructors use) or made easier by following the modifications shown. As someone who can leg press two times my bodyweight, I would've never thought these small movements with light weights would make my body shake as it does, I sweat buckets, and at the same time the movements are completely low impact and somewhat relaxing. I have done barre and ballet training from other instructors and there is nothing like Barre3. I am in awe of the results in such a small amount of time. This set comes with a free trial for the online workouts as well and they are great too! I only wish that the online favorites are made on DVDs in the near future. Thanks Sadie and QVC for such a great offer in this set. I am in love!!!
Great Barre Exercises Without Using a Barre!
I liked Sadie in the on-line presentation & think she created great DVDs & Barre workouts, but I actually like the 2 DVDs with Candice as the instructor better. I can really feel my muscles have had a workout, even after doing only a 10 minute workout. I really like the 10 minute workout options. My only problem so far is my back hurts a little bit, but think I just need to get it stronger & then hopefully I won't have the problem anymore. I have always been more of an exercise machine, strengthening/toning exercise routine person doing low impact exercises. I have never been an aerobics, especially very high impact, exercise person except for some walking. I especially like that you can use a chair instead of a Barre to do the workouts & that the DVDs do show the exercises using a chair unlike some other Barre workout DVDs. I'm an almost 61 year old female that has recently had hip replacement surgery & find that I can do 99% of the exercises I have tried so far, so am happy that I found these DVDs & think I'm really going to like at least half of them & would recommend this program for anyone.
I wanted to love this set. But when I started and in some areas, she would not give modifications. She would say " you can do what you want for now", I thought, thanks a lot!! She is not an experienced instructor for people with disabilities. My advice is forget this set and get marjolien's pilates!!!!!
