Make Your Selection: Smithsonian Handmade Carousel Hop Toad

This Smithsonian wooden carousel figure is adapted from the hop toad of the late 19th century. It was made popular by immigrant European woodcarvers creating American carousels. The hop toad is from the Div. of Cultural History in the National Museum of American History, Smithsonian Institution. It is handcarved in basswood, hand painted with water-based paints, and features a brass pole and oak base. Dust with a damp cloth to clean. Measures: 6-1/2"L x 3-1/4"W x 12"H. Made in USA.
