Orange Flax Smoothie

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup carrot juice
  • 1/2 cup orange juice
  • 2 Tbsp ground flaxseed meal (made in dry container)
  • 1 piece fresh ginger root, peeled
  • 1 1/2–2 cups frozen unsweetened peach slices

Preparation:

Place 1 cup of whole flax seeds in the dry-blade container and secure lid. Select Variable 1. Turn machine on and slowly increase speed to Variable 8. Grind until desired degree of fineness.

Place carrot juice, orange juice, flax seed meal, ginger root, and frozen peach slices in the wet-blade container and secure the lid. Select Variable 1. Turn machine on and slowly increase speed to Variable 10, then to high.

Blend for 30 seconds or until desired consistency is reached.
