A Lucky Leprechaun Martini

Ingredients

  • 2 Tbsp gold sanding sugar
  • 1/2 cup half-and-half
  • 3 oz vodka
  • 1-1/2 oz Irish cream
  • 1/2 oz green Crème de Menthe
  • Mint sprig for garnish

Preparation

Spread out the gold sanding sugar on a plate. Wet the rim of a martini glass and press it into the sanding sugar, twisting to coat. Set aside.

Pour the half-and-half into a tall, narrow glass. Insert a milk frother and froth until very light and foamy. Set aside.

Add the vodka, Irish cream, and green Crème de Menthe to a cocktail shaker with ice. Shake for 45 seconds to a minute or until very cold. Strain into the prepared glass. Spoon the frothed half-and-half on top of the drink to create an even layer. Garnish with a sprig of mint before serving.

Cook's Notes

If you don’t have a milk frother, this drink could be topped with whipped cream!
